This is a lovely property but it is best to limit your group to three in number as the furniture is comfortable for three but tight for four And if you think you want to cook any of your meals think again. There is an efficiency kitchen…..no stove or oven to speak of. But aside from that it is beautifully appointed and the views from the little deck is gorgeous.
We discovered a gem in the mountains along the North Carolina/Georgia border. My first impression on entering the cabin (3rd of 5 along a ridge) was “cutest cabin ever”!
The cabin was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The beds were heavenly.
The views from our unit were enchanting; the distant mountains and the vineyard just below us. We were able to see fog rolling in and approaching storms as well as cows and a dog in the property below the vineyard. The drive to downtown Highlands was a scenic 20 minutes and Cashiers was 35-40 minutes away.
Note that there is no stove to cook on, just an electric skillet and microwave, but maybe that is just as well because I would be tempted to live there otherwise.
We were in town to visit waterfalls and for short hikes (have toddler & young child) and it was the perfect location. We were able to shop/eat & hike in both Highlands and Dillard. Host was very accommodating and very quick to respond. Cabin was SUPER clean and up to date. Would stay again if given the opportunity.
I booked this property for my parents, and my husband and 22 month old son. We also had our dogs with us. The cottage is decorated so nice. It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Drive to Highlands wasn’t bad at all.
Exceeded expectations. Lovely decor and thoughtful host. Would definitely stay again. Not the strongest WiFi and needs an oven, but otherwise wonderful.
This place was perfect and we loved watching the sunrise in the morning with coffee. The internet is spotty but that just means less screen time and more face to face time. Thanks for letting us stay here.
From the expansive windows to the vineyard and mountains beyond, we enjoyed peace and quiet, a chic and comfortable cottage (#3) with all we needed for a relaxing stay. We hiked along the black boundary fence, fed apples to the cows, drank wine on the deck and explored Glen Falls, Highlands and Julep Farms. We loved the setting and Rachel was helpful when we asked questions. The owner sent a bottle of wine to try and we appreciate all the hospitality! Thank you to all who created our wonderful stay! We will definitely return in the future!
We arrived and opened the door to our little cottage and were overwhelmed with the view. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal during our stay, but the cottage is adorable and location is lovely. Enjoyed walks around the vineyard and dinners in Highlands and Julep Farms. Try the zip lining just across the street for an adventure as well!
This property is stunningly beautiful. Our stay was very relaxing and quiet which is just what we were looking for. The cabin was very cute, clean, and comfortable. We want to come back and stay longer!
My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The cabin was so cute! I really enjoyed all of the personal touches! Due to COVID, we did most of our cooking in the cabin, so we brought a camping stove to use on the patio. The location is great - close to tons of hiking if that's your thing. The property is beyond beautiful and my kids enjoyed feeding the fish. Rachel was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again!
This property overlooks a vineyard in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. The cottage decor is white, bright and fresh (as fresh as the cut flowers that greeted us in the kitchen upon arrival). Linens were clean and crisp and having dinner on the deck was a nightly treat. It is convenient to Franklin, Highlands and Cashiers. We shopped antique malls, went tubing in Helen and hiked the incredible Glen Falls trail to an amazing water fall. As an added bonus, you can enjoy a stroll around the lovely property which hosts a pond and rows of grapevines. During these crazy times, it was truly an oasis. Thank you Rachel and team for your hospitality.
