Check in was good. Room was immaculate. Matty at reception was very warm and welcoming. We were disappointed that the pool area was shared with guests to the adjoining cafe and yoga studio. Wifi was also shared. This made it impossible to enjoy the pool or the wifi. Free breakfast was difficult to receive as service was slow. Very busy with other guests so staff seemed overwhelmed. Was charged for peanut butter for toast. Had to wait 15 minutes for change after paying. Better off to go down the street to get breakfast. Room was fantastic and Matty was a great host. Other than that the accommodations need major improvements.

Well I booked a "Master Suite", the room had no balcony per the pics, but worst of all the room had a free standing toilet, no door or ventilation to a bathroom ??? I could lay in bed a few feet away and enjoy the sounds and smells of my partners ablutions. What a lovely experience on holiday, paying $200 per night for a concrete box room that really tested the limits of my love for my partner. The pool and sitting area are tiny, almost always in shade, the angles of the property pics are very misleading, this is NOT an upscale property in any way. Not what you would expect in a "Master Suite". Very disappointed and will not return. On the plus side good hot water and quiet part of town.

I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is quiet which makes for a peaceful stay, but close enough to town that it makes walking to restaurants convenient. Close to some hiking trails to the beach which was also nice!

Great spot with very friendly front desk. Near a really nice part of the beach that’s a bit more chill from the main beach. Nice cafe as well. Only issue was that shower water was never warm. Aside from that, no issues and would recommend.

Super cute spot with amazing coffee/food spot attached. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Quiet part of town plus it’s super close to the beach. We will for sure be coming back.

Lovely property in a quiet spot. Loved the pool area and rooftop yoga, staff is amazing and helpful. It’s 5 min walk to the beach, and 15 min walk to town. Keep in mind walls are thin so if you’re a light sleeper like me, can hear everything may not be the most restful sleep.

Love this hotel!
Fantastic front desk staff! Love the environment, vibe and overall energy of the hotel. The yoga studio on the roof is a bonus as well! I also love being on this side of Sayulita :) Walkable to many little local restaurants and beach!

Don Bonito is a great boutique hotel, right across from the beach in a quiet part of town (which we very much enjoyed). The yoga studio is great, and the cafe makes great coffee, smoothies, etc. Be warned on busy days we waited over an hour for our breakfast. There is a small pool in the back which was perfect for lounging, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Modern boutique hotel with a pool, cafe, and rooftop yoga. Very photogenic decor. Friendly staff. It is small, so it can get a bit noisy. Super well suited to couples and youthful people who want an elevated experience.

A few tweaks needed but overall great stay
The over all style of the hotel was amazing. And they stafd were helpful. however the super cute pools was covered in died and alive flies around the pool room and lounge chairs. There was also construct or something from 6pm-12am that was something VERY loud. They hotel didnt warn of this. All in all the hotel is prefect walking distance from the beach away from the city center. But also only about a 8 minute walk to the city center. They rooms air conditoning was amazing! And i went home with the amazing body cream that was already in the room. Its amazing. I would recommend with a few changes.

We are sorry about the bugs around the pool but they just had sprayed and fumigated a fews days earlier thats why so many bugs were dead around the hotel property. The night you heard the construction they were installing a better wifi range for all guests to enjoy better internet speeds and coverage. Glad you enjoyed the body cream!! hope to see you back here in the near future!!

No door on the bathroom, no tv, the worst WiFi I've ever experienced. But the place was beautiful and quiet. Not for me in the future but maybe for others.

Very sweet clean hotel with great coffee shop attached. Near best beach to go less crowded A bit of a walk back and forth to the action but way more quiet than In Town. I will stay here again and hotel can provide golf carts to rent if walking is too much.

This hotel is an excellent choice. The staff is awesome. The restaurant offers coffee, breakfast plates, smoothies and the atmosphere is relaxed an calm.

Terrific little gem
I absolutely loved this place. Very stylish and modern. Rooms are rather small, but who stays in the room in Sayulita for too long? I tried their bath - it was great and the water was always hot, the pool was great too! Highly recommend.

Super cute ambiance and style of the boutique Hotel. Only thing is the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of things outside your room. But it’s Mexico, so we didn’t mind that much.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated off the beaten path on a quiet street across from the beach. I stayed here last year and loved it so decided to come back for a long birthday weekend and was excited about their new juice bar. However, there was a group of people there for some sort of content or brandedrelated surf retreat and they conducted most of it all over the hotel, especially in front of our room. They left their stuff EVERYWHERE, empty cups, plates of half eaten food, swimsuits you name it. They moved all the furniture, often blocking our room, and the pool area was almost unusable. I sat out my first day and had death glares from the young women shooting pics literally next to my face. Several times we had to walk through a yoga session or Ted talk in front of our room. It was awkward and made it so I wanted to run from the hotel every morning. The hotel did not warn us, or try to accommodate for us at all. We couldn’t order from the juice bar bc the group had bought it out. It was really disappointing and as we were leaving I could see another stream of people joining for another retreat and an unhappy couple who had just checked in looking duped. I can tell the hotel is trying to bring in money, which more power to them, but I don’t want to stay again if this is what’s going on, it was super disruptive to my hard earned vacation.

It is a small boutique hotel in a quiet area but still walkable to the north side restaurants. There is a new cafe on site for coffee and a few breakfast items. It is modern and clean.

Beautiful little hotel. The property was very secure and felt very safe. So aesthetically pleasing - both the room and common areas. The pool is amazing! Loved the room. We visited when it was vey hot and humid and the room was so nice and cool. AC worked so well. Check in and out was easy. We got in late and someone was there to let us in even though they weren’t technically open. It was a great stay overall.

Nice find in an up and coming area of sayulita
Don Bonito is situated in a quieter location than the main town plaza of sayulita, never the less, it is surrounded by shops and restaurants which could be considered the hidden gem and secret part of sayulita. The room itself was cozy, spacious, and clean. The hotel is still under construction so the cafe and bar weren't open during our stay but the location is near many more cafes and the beach! Only recommendation would be for the hotel to invest in nicer amenities. The towels were shedding and some of the small requests we had - cups, better access to filtered water, etc - were unavailable.

Loved this hotel and the location. Little outside of town which make it very quiet to sleep but close enough to enjoy the town at the same time. The staff was friendly, welcoming and assisted us in all our requests! A few items missing in the room in my opinion: fridge or cooler would be nice, hairdryer and cotton/qtips in the bathroom.

The best place to stay in Sayulita for couples
It was amazing, sparkling clean, the climate control was incrtedible, the bed really comfy, I really recomend this place, it has great room decoration and architecture, they offered free bottles of water, hotel acces really easy to do and is really close to the beach!!
