Two Story Historic District Row House on York St!

Built in 1854, this Greek Revival home will give you the real Savannah experience you are looking for! Situated in the heart of downtown, this spot is walking distance from dozens of restaurants and tourist destinations. This unique spot also offers the peace & quiet of being tucked away, steps away from Green Square

This is THE quintessential historic getaway for a couple. The bedroom with King size bed is a spacious loft style room (no door to bedroom) upstairs. The bathroom is upstairs en suite with the bedroom. The bathroom does have a sliding door.

We can accommodate a 3rd person, using a rollaway cot, which can be placed in the sitting room portion of the bedroom. There is no door between the sitting room and bed area. Parking is easy to come by on the public street. Historic home with original steep staircase. Please use caution on stairs and note the property may not be ideal for guests with mobility limitations.

Parking details: There are meters right in front of the house. Meter parking all day/night can easily be handled by downloading the Park Savannah app (which allows credit card payment for a specific spot and results in $1 per hour parking at most meters near this house, meaning $12 per day Mon-Sat) or with a 'Visitors Parking Day Pass' which is available to cover all day/night parking for travelers. The Pass is $15 per 24 hours or $24 per 48 hours but check with the City Parking Office for pricing as that is subject to change. The Day Pass is a benefit for its flexibility in driving from one spot to another during the day, and it can be purchased from the Visitors Center on MLK, the Parking Services office on Bryan Street.

Cute property. Spacious for two. Fun location walking distance to everything. The clomping of the horse drawn carriages added to the quaintness. If we were any older, the stairs and clawfoot tub/shower (clearly indicated in description and photos) might have been uncomfortable.

The property was exactly the same as pictured on the listing (extremely clean)! The neighborhood was quiet, but close enough to all the action in Savannah. The upstairs got a little toasty, however there are plenty of fans provided to stay cool. Would highly recommend staying here!

Luxury with historic feel

This apartment was in an excellent location . The decor and sheets were luxurious. The claw foot bath was a treat. My husband and I and our 11 year old daughter stayed there- she slept on a cot. Perfect space for us.

Great Location!

Overall, I had a fantastic stay at this property. The location is perfect- a short walk from everything we wanted to do including River Street, museums, and many of the top restaurants. Its a great space for two people. The bed is comfrotable and theres enough space to relax and unwind. The shower was the only thing we didn't absolutely love, but it did make for a fun experience. I would stay here again for sure!

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a short trip from Hilton Head for a wedding over the weekend. We enjoyed both the beautiful home and its location. Easy to get downtown, but off the beaten path enough to enjoy the quiet and feel like a local. Sleeping arrangements are a little tight for three people, but we made it work. I would definitely return.

Stunning and comfortable

We absolutely loved this charming 2-story row house. It's truly beautiful inside with antique old-world finishings and details, huge windows, and a perfect loft with a huge comfortable bed. It's perfectly located in old town Savannah so you can walk everywhere and also had plenty of parking. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of places to sit and lounge, and was just a joy to be in. Def recommend!

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay! We were able to walk to River Street as well as all around town. We even walked a short distance to the holiday parade. It’s very comfortable. The only thing is that the shower is a little difficult. It’s a little hard to enter and use. We understood because it’s such a beautiful historic location. Also, getting the parking app in advance was a big plus!!

Property is very nice, good location, very clean and well stocked with necessities. Bedroom , which is up a long twisting flight of stairs, has no TV. The TV is downstairs. We had a problem with logging into channels we wanted and the host was incredibly rude on the phone. Would not give me the chance to explain and followed up with an equally rude text.

Great Historic Charm

Walking in, we were immediately greeted by the beautiful historic charm of this residence. The details did not go unnoticed. The location is great. Close enough that you can walk to the river, but also far enough that the noise is not a bother. Parking wasn’t an issue. We planned ahead of time and knew to expect to pay for the spot we would occupy. We opted to walk majority of the time so it was not an issue to pay for the day. Great recommendations were given by the host. We enjoyed the Old Savannah Trolley Tour - information for this was found on the kiosk in the property. They even have a shuttle to pick you up! Hope to return to Savannah & enjoy the property again!

Honeymoon stay

My husband and stayed here for our honeymoon. Chose this rental because of the location and how cute it is! It was super easy to check-in, very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom has such a cute look to it. The location was great, very quiet and made it easy to walk to local shops! Just one issue and I didn’t give any less stars because it’s not the owners fault but just keep an eye out on parking! We paid for our spot every day, one day we left to get lunch and came back to see someone parked in our spot that we had already paid for. Wasn’t really sure what to do, again not an issue with the renter but seems to be a city issue! Otherwise we had absolutely 0 issues and loved the property!
