This hidden gem in the beautiful Historic District, rests beneath majestic oak trees, in a prime location within walking distance to River Street, City Market, beautiful Squares, and so much more. Beytagh 1872 is your ultimate Savannah retreat!

Stepping into your beautiful digs, you'll immediately be greeted by the essence of this charming Historic home. The open floor plan boasts with tall ceilings, and large windows that fills each room with natural light. Truly an entertainers dream, as the open floor plan allows guests to never feel separated. The gathering room sits just off of the entrance, where everyone in your party can gather together for a movie or game night, which also features original stone hearth fireplaces dating back to 1872. Just beyond, you'll be able to host intimate dinners with friends and family in the formal dining room with seating for 8 guests. As the host of the party you'll find that serving your guests will be seamless, as the transition from the kitchen to the dining room is easily accessible. The renovated kitchen offers everything needed to prepare your famous home cooked meals, or craft your favorite cocktails and lattes.

At the back of the home, the first guest suite is perfect for traveling singles, seniors or young children, as this room features two plush twin size beds and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Upstairs, the two additional guest suites can be found, which are equipped with comfortable, plush beds, to ensure a sound nights sleep. The second suite is fitted with a King, while the third offers a Queen. Both rooms have smart televisions, and a generous amount of storage space - ideal for extended stays. The full bath with tub/shower combo and large vanity is off of the hall, making it convenient for all!

Just out back your private oasis awaits! The charming courtyard is the best place to relax and unwind, or start your day. Whether your enjoying a glass of wine, or a morning cup of coffee, you'll never want to leave. The heavily shaded courtyard is a rarity here in the Historic District, and you will have ample amount of space for your activity of choice.

What Is Parking Like For This Home?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 5pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage. Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Amazing and Authentic Savannah VRBO

From the minute you walk into the rental it is amazing. It's a beautifully updated townhouse in a safe and quiet area of Savannah. There are many nice touches from providing including laundry detergent, and dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, extra fans in all the rooms. The decor is gorgeous and very tasteful. We loved staying here and would absolutely stay here again.

Birthday trip

We stayed in Savannah to celebrate my daughter’s 16 birthday. The unit was perfect for our family size and convenient to everything. Parking was close by and not an issue. We loved the feeling of staying in an older home. The only issues were related to being in a city and close to a not so nice neighborhood.

Very clean, dog friendly home

Super clean home, very comfortable for family or three couples. One bedroom and bathroom on bottom floor which was nice for older couple and dog. Large sitting area for all of us to spend time together in the evenings. Many restaurants and riverwalk in walking distance. Short drive to many places. Would definitely return.

Southern hospitality

Enjoyed the location, weather and southern. charm of the area. Walked from our home to area restaurants and shops. Starter supplies were a help until we could visit a nearby grocery store. Neighbors were a quiet lot, and traffic and road noise on Broad street was limited after dark. Great spot for the six of us abd plently of room and privacy. Showers in both bathrooms also.

Savannah Get Away

We chose this home for its proximity to SCAD as we were in Savannah checking out the school. This is a beautiful home, elegantly appointed with all the character you'd expect from a historic Savannah home. Parking was a slight issue at the beginning but we solved it with an all day pass that was good everywhere. Any small issues we had were promptly handled. I would highly recommend this home for a Savannah visit. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Place / location

Clean, great location! Rental company could have been more accommodating- I called 3 times - in 3 days , to let them know the back porch lights didn’t work. No one ever showed up to fix it, after they said everyone I called someone would come - frustrating!

good place with a few small things to improve

We stayed here for a week starting end of December 2024. The property is located along the busy E Broad St so the upstairs front bedroom with the master bed gets to hear all the traffic noise. As many old houses, the unit is likely poorly insulated with only one HVAC unit so when the thermostat was set to 70, the upstairs was probably 5 degrees warmer and the downstairs 5 degrees cooler. The unit was mostly clean with a few small exceptions. 1. I don't think it's in their protocol to clean out the dishwasher screener. I cleaned out a bunch of hair, some other debris and an acrylic fingernail. The property is managed by a company that has many properties in Savannah so they should probably add this in their protocol. 2. They are nice enough to provide dog treats. Unfortunately, there were in a container infested with some sort of small bugs so we had to through them out and clean the jar.Overall, the location is well-centered for a stay in Savannah being walking distance to both Forsyth Park and downtown.
