Beautiful Southern Manor on Famous Jones Street + Parking by Lucky Savannah

Follow the cobblestones on Jones Street - voted “America’s Prettiest Street” by Southern Living Magazine - to this stately parlor-level apartment. Steps away from sought-after attractions like The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Mercer-Williams House, and the Sorrell-Weed House, this home is ideal for those interested in Savannah's architectural history.

Enter up a short set of stairs to the Parlor Level of this 1800s standalone manor. The formal parlor room greets guests and acts as a casual living space; ideal for catching up with close friends and family. Classic French decor seen throughout is elegant yet relaxed and comfortable. Adjacent is the dining room and kitchen, with a washer and dryer hidden behind. Both bedrooms boast stunning views of historic Savannah, along with the modern amenities you expect like smart TVs, central A/C, and ample storage space. The first bedroom is spacious with a King bed and large closet. The full bath is exclusive to those guests and located just off the hall.

The second bedroom has a Queen bed and wall-to-wall windows, allowing a fantastic view of historic Jones Street. Blinds allow for guest privacy at night. This bedroom's full bath is en suite, with a tub/shower combination. After a full day of touring (and shopping!) Savannah, relax with a cocktail in the courtyard gardens. You'll love spending each evening beneath the stars.

Parking for this home is a breeze with two designated spots just behind the home (one in front of the other). On-street parking is also available and non-metered, although guests will need to be wary of Sweep Zone signs.

Centrally located, this home is within walking to distance to many of Savannah's most treasured historic homes, and is also very close to multiple green spaces like our Forsyth Park (famous for its Fountain), Madison Square, and Chippewa Square. A walk along Bull Street in either North-South direction is the perfect way to see and learn about our beautiful city.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. Beautiful property and great location, but a few additional touches could have made it perfect: hand towels (only bath towels and washcloths were supplied); soap dish and extra soaps (or larger bar of soap) in bathrooms (we ran out of soap by the end of our three-day stay); more hooks in bathrooms for hanging damp bath towels; a cookie sheet for reheating leftovers in the oven.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this vacation rental! The home was simply gorgeous and beautifully decorated. It was immaculate and I mean IMMACULATE! I dropped my glasses under the nightstand and there wasn’t even one spec of dust under there! The location on Jones street is one of the best spots in Savannah. The beds were comfortable and everything was in working order. I have three suggestions for the management company which I would expect to find at this price point:1) There was a coffee pot with a sample of coffee but no coffee filters, creamers or sugar packets. 2) Needs more than one dish towel. 3) Needs a box of tissues. The toilet paper quality was terrible (single ply, felt like gift wrap tissue) and there were no facial tissues. First hotel/rental I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have one! These are minor issues that can easily be corrected and wouldn’t deter me from renting again. Thanks!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our party of three included myself, my sister and our 85 year old mother. It can be difficult to find a one story rental in Savannah, but this beautiful apartment home fit our needs perfectly. Though there are about 15 stair steps leading into the building, the apartment is easy to maneuver once inside. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level, which was great for my mother (who walks with a cane). The mattresses are very comfortable as are the den sofa and chairs. We had two problems which were fixed very quickly (within 30 minutes!)--the apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4:30 PM, and the refrigerator power was turned off. Lucky Savannah was super quick to respond and fix both issues. Jones Street is the BEST location in town--quiet, but still an easy walk, drive or Über to everything. Eat at Clary's Diner, right across the street! Great diner for breakfast and lunch (just don't expect a mimosa!).

Our host, Lucky Savannah was very welcoming and responsive whenever we had questions. The historic house(or portion of it) we used was beautiful. Only suggestions would be to oil the hinges on the back bedroom door and fix the shower head on the bathroom for that bedroom. It only comes out as a stream. But overall, we really enjoyed staying at Southern Manor and working with Lucky Savannah.
