Welcome to the Sarah E Krenson house built in 1873, a named house on Savannah's historical register, on beautiful sought after Jones St. Located in the downtown historic district, take a step back into a time seeped in Southern history along cobblestone streets with ancient live oak trees draped in Spanish moss.
The house abounds in original details of the period and has also been lovingly updated with modern amenities, the best of both worlds! The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to create a large family feast. The adjacent dining room seats 8 and can easily be arranged to seat more. The first floor also has a formal living area, half bathroom and a sitting area in the kitchen, plenty of room to spread out. A lovely private courtyard is right off the kitchen area, with a fountain and seating for 10. The perfect spot for morning coffee before heading out for a stroll through all Savannah has to offer and a place to return to and relax for an evening glass of wine.
The second and third floors consist of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and 2 are en suites, a unique feature not often found in large historic homes.

This location has been captured in many wonderful movies such as Disney's "Lady and the Tramp", "Glory" and the iconic "In the Garden of Good and Evil".
With 3000 square feet of living space, Jones street on the top 10 list from USA Today's "Prettiest streets in America" , you can make a memorable experience with friends and family at the Sarah Elizabeth House on Jones.

The Sarah Elizabeth house on Jones, with a private entrance and a private courtyard, will supply plenty of comfortable exclusive space for everyone in your group. Savannah is a walking city, with lovely squares and parks for you to enjoy safe walks and the beautiful scenery. Take an evening stroll with your adult beverage and enjoy the views. This location allows you to easily walk to all the fun things to do in Savannah such as Plant Riverside, River Street, restaurants and shopping. Or if the beach is on your agenda, Tybee is just a 30 minute drive.

Parking is readily available in front of the house on Jones Street. It is metered, but free nights and weekends as well as holidays. There is a very small parking spot within the rear courtyard suitable for a compact vehicle.

Perfect Spot to Stay While in Savannah!!

This property is in an ideal location in Savannah and was an absolutely perfect property for a couples weekend. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time together and each bedroom has it's own full bathroom. Hosts were extremely responsive. Enjoy!

Location Location!!!

My 4 sisters and I came to Savannah to celebrate what would have been our mothers 100th birthday. This house was amazing and totally fit all our needs. It was very clean and spacious. The location was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. We had a very nice celebration!!!

I highly recommend!!

Beautiful and very spacious property. We all had our own spaces with bathrooms, kitchen was great and I love the little sitting area off the kitchen that leads into the amazing courtyard. The neighborhood was sooo pretty and easy to access anything around. Owner was amazing to work with! A great experience and I’m hoping to return later this year.

Spacious home with excellent amenities

We were in Savannah for our son's wedding and our family stayed at the house. The house was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Everyone loved their rooms. There was plenty of space for the groomsmen to come and get ready at the house. And our daughter (who happens to be named Sarah Elizabeth) was able to make the wedding cake in the kitchen! The location cannot be beat. We walked everywhere.

From the start of booking the Sarah Elizabeth house, to the end of our vacation, we could not have been happier. Tim and Beth were wonderful. The home did not disappoint us at all. It has all the conveniences of staying at home, is centrally located to enjoy everything about Savannah, and the house was spotless. I would definitely rent this home again.

Great Stay for our girls trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was an amazing property with plenty of room for our group of girls to all get ready for our nights out. Absolutely Wonderful Stay

We rented this property for a stay during the weekend of our daughter's wedding. The home is beautiful in a lovely neighborhood (our Uber driver said it is the most beautiful street in Savannah) and close to everything (quick Uber ride or 20 minute walk to riverfront). The home has tons of character and room for everyone. The bathrooms are beautifully restored and the downstairs areas with living room, dining room, renovated kitchen with sitting area were awesome for gathering, The quaint, private patio was an added touch. Timothy was very responsive and super nice to work with. We highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

Best stay in Savannah!

From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we had everything we needed at this rental! Comfortable bedding, spacious and well appointed rooms, well-stocked and we’ll-equipped kitchen, games, movies, adorable courtyard…. This is a place to linger and relax. You can, and should, take your cocktail and stroll down Jones Street - I cannot argue its “prettiest street in the USA” designation. We had family photos taken in nearby Chatham Square and Forsyth Park. Simply stunning. There’s no shortage of restaurants in Savannah. Beth and Tim provide a book listing several of them as well as things to do in Savannah. We ate well in Savannah (The Grey, St. Neo’s Brasserie) and cocktailed well (Electric Moon, Myrtle and Rose, McDonough’s). We cannot wait to return and stay longer!!

Beautiful home, well-appointed, convenient location

The property was beautiful, historic, and perfect for our group of 6 friends, and would be wonderful for any group type, really. The location couldn't be better, on Jones Street right in the middle of anything you could want to see. Walkability could not be beat - Close to shops, restaurants, everything. We were so happy with our experiece. The thoughtfull touches (water bottles, snacks, notes) and communication of the homeowners was excellent. A truly great welcome to Savannah and highly recommended.

Perfect Girl's Weekend/ St Paddy's in Savannah

From the first minute, our stay was perfect! Tim met us at the house when we arrived, he had saved us the perfect parking spot. I had rented a 15 passenger van to get friends at the airport and day-trip with, and parking on St Paddy's day weekend can be tough. The house was pretty close to spotless and absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen is very well stocked, super comfy beds, nice quality sheets and pillows, and plenty of room for our dinners and game nights in. Communication with Tim and Beth was seamless and they were available to answer any questions! We would absolutely recommend this home and will stay here again if we do another girls trip to Savannah!!

Thanksgiving vacation

Property was great. Bedrooms were good to have place to retreat for alone time. We walked everywhere. Parking was easy at house. Kitchen area was big enough with a sitting area where we could cook and chat with everyone!
