Fabulous House With Luxurious Outdoor Space: Patio, Outdoor Fireplace, Front & Back Porches! Steps from event venue 'Brockington Hall' as well as Forsyth Park & The Mansion. A beautifully renovated townhouse in Historic Downtown Savannah! This property has been completely updated with beautiful high end finishes for your comfort and enjoyment. The owners have skillfully preserved historic features throughout such as mantles and molding that are especially ornate and memorable.

Sleeping arrangement consist of two spacious King bedrooms each with TV and a back door leading to the side porch that is private for this rental.

The living room, dining and kitchen are one large open area. This is a great setup for socializing! The gorgeous high end outdoor space is the crowning jewel of this property. Enjoy a working outdoor fireplace during the 9 or so months out of the year when Savannah can surprise you with a cold evening.

There is one Full Bath which is spacious with high end finishes. There is also a spacious Half Bath. Both bathrooms are conveniently located off the hallway between bedrooms for all members of your party to use.

A popular wedding/event venue 'Brockington Hall' is 1.5 blocks from this home. The surrounding amenities include a major well stocked grocery store (1 block away), a luxury day spa (3 blocks away), tennis courts (at Forsyth), a gourmet health food store (at the South end of Forsyth) and many fabulous restaurants (700 Drayton, Leoci's Trattoria, Local 11Ten) within a few blocks of the home.

his is a lower level single story unit. There are some stairs to the main entrance but no interior staircase is present
Capacity is 4 adults but we sleep two extras under 18 on the pull out sofa in the living room.

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Stayed for two nights as part of a New Year’s trip and overall really enjoyed our stay in Savannah. Nice quiet location, but still close enough to everything that we were able to walk. Would stay again!

This was the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in! The beds were comfortable and the location was wonderful. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to work the thermostat, but the owner/manager quickly responded and told me how to adjust it.

What a great choice for our first stay in Savanah. Close to the park. We walked everywhere in the city. Cute coffee shop on the corner. Beautiful porches to lounge on.

Beautiful home

This home is convenient to everything you could want in historic Savannah - beds were very comfortable - kitchen was well stocked ( for those who want to cook) and everything was super clean - also had a wonderful outdoor settings which we used to drink coffee every morning. Really makes you feel like you have stepped back in time.

Shotgun house East of Forsyth Park

This house has a great front porch and lots of area in the back yard. It's in a very interesting local neighborhood with people walking, walking dogs, riding bikes, a million SCAD buses with students. Bedrooms are comfortable, very workable kitchen. It's further eat of the park than we expected. WiFi is poor.

Wonderful from the location to a very comfortable stay. The neighborhood is gorgeous to walk around see all the homes. Kroger’s grocery right around the corner. Able to walk to the parks and river street. Great find. Ohhhh and the porch we spent all our time there thank you

Wonderful accommodations

Enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is perfect. It’s near a grocery store and coffee shop. Most of all, the building and living quarters are outstanding. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The downtown to all the shops, River market, museums, and tours are all in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay at this home!

Wonderful experience!

The property is gorgeous. The beds are extremely comfortable and everything was beautifully decorated. It is very close to all the goings on in Savannah but is far enough away that it is a quiet and peaceful retreat. 10/10!
