Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated. There was so much character with all the decorations, we really enjoyed that part. The space was functional for our group and had plenty of room. We were looking forward to using the hot tub but it ended up being broken. The owner was very responsive but because of the winter storm we were unable to get it fixed. He graciously offered a discount which was much appreciated, Especially since we ended up being stuck at the house most of the time
Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored Victorian home.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Disliked: Location
We stayed here as a family of 12 the day after Christmas. We arrived at 4:30, after the listed check-in time, but the cleaning crew was still there until about 5:30 & asked us to remain downstairs while they finished the upstairs. The interior of the home is nicely decorated & was very clean overall, with the exception of the patio. The outdoor area was not tidy, with leaves and sticks throughout, and most of the string lights were not working. The exterior of the home appears to need maintenance, and while the neighborhood seems up-and-coming, the immediate block where the home is located is fairly run down. The location is convenient in some ways, it’s a quick walk to the back end of Forsyth Park and close to a few neighborhood restaurants if you walk a block or so to find them. The walk to the river is about 30 minutes, which was expected. Inside the home, there is only one bathroom not connected to a bedroom, which is shared by four bedrooms. On our first night, the shower had low water pressure, with water barely trickling out. I did receive a prompt response after messaging, & someone came the next day to replace the shower head, which was appreciated. The beds were very comfortable. Some relatively easy improvements that would elevate the experience; adding bedside outlets, luggage racks in each room due to limited closet space, & hooks for hanging items. holiday decorations or a small Christmas tree would have been a nice touch for the timing & price.
