Phoebe's Dog Friendly Townhouse

Phoebe, our French Bulldog says, "this is a perfect place to sit and enjoy your quiet evenings or early morning coffee." It is furnished elegantly, and has all the comforts of home with a open airy floor plan. This is the perfect week-end getaway spot. Great size for a family of four or just a group of friends visiting Savannah.

The living room boasts an enormous 50 inch flat screen smart tv, with lots of cable channels along with swivel recliners and a queen size pull out sofa. There is a stereo which will pair to your Iphone. Past the living room is a dining table with four chairs along with a high top bar with two stools and a pass through to the fully equipped kitchen. Caesar stone countertops and stainless steel appliances and a gas range, finish off this modern kitchen. There is a half bathroom just off the dining room.

Just up the stairs is a full bathroom with a shower/bath, 2 bedrooms and a laundry room with a full size front loading washer and dryer. Both bedrooms have queen beds, white linens, white wood furniture, and natural light from the windows makes the space clean, inviting and fresh. There are ceiling fans, big closets and 24 inch televisions in each bedroom. Each bedroom has bedside lamps with USB ports for convenient cell phone charging. The cellular window shades offer both light filtering or total blackout options.

This townhouse is in the best location, just 2-1/2 blocks from Forsyth Park and close to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery, and a liquor store. Walking distance to downtown. There is free on street parking available. I have never had a problem finding parking.

This is a perfect unit to book for a weekend get away or to make your regular rental spot here in Savannah. Great location and lots of space! Book Today!

Two queen size beds & one queen size pull out sofa

There is a keypad on the front door. I will code the keypad to the last four digits of your VRBO phone number. Enter the code and you can turn the handle on the lock to open the door. To relock, close the door, push the button on the pad that says Schlage, you can now turn the handle on the lock and relock the door.

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. Great stay in Savannah

Me and my wife have been coming to Savannah about every year since 2007 we honey mooned on Tybee island we love Savannah this was another great stay we brought our 2 pets it's close to the park and cemetery a Kroger is just around the corner just a good stay street parking is free just remember to move your car on the street sweep.days

We love Savannah and our stay at Phoebe's was perfect. Such a great location, quiet yet easy to walk to restaurants, grocery store, coffee shop and Forsyth Park! Also only blocks to pick up the Tram. Perfect for us and our little dog Pax!

Another great stay!

This is our second time staying at this townhouse, and it was great. Super convenient location to walk to Forsyth Park and into the heart of the historic district while being on a quiet street. The kitchen had everything we needed for a 3-week stay.

Perfect location.

We loved the location. A block away from Kroger grocery and 30 min or less walk to everything is else. We’d find a parking space outside the grocery store and stay parked there until we had to move. We would just walk everywhere within 30 min which was most places we wanted to go. It was a great vacation.

Short Birthday Getaway

It was our first time in Savannah to celebrated my mom’s birthday. Wendy and Phoebe’s house was charming and welcoming. Parking was not that bad on the street and walked downtown for shopping and dining. My dog loved the park 2 blocks away and the coffee shop down the block for morning and afternoon. Mom and I enjoyed our visit and willing for another adventure soon.

My husband and I came to Savannah for a quick weekend getaway. This was a wonderful spot for our stay. It was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and it was close to everything we wanted to do. Communication from Wendy was superb.

Historic Savannah

Excellent property location within historic area. Townhouse was accurately described in Vrbo preview. Property was most comfortable, with easy on-street parking. Within walking distance to Bay Street & most historic sites. Two blocks to Forsyth Park, an area our dog greatly enjoyed. Communication with owner easiest we have experienced within the Vrbo rentals we have dealt with.

Loved the townhouse!

Lovely townhouse, so pet friendly! It’s a great location with a Kroger very close and a wonderful coffee shop/bakery that is nearby as well. I walked the dogs close by for potty trips. The weather was mild so we walked to Broughton street to shop. It was nice that Wendy supplied everything we needed for our stay and also having cable and Netflix was a plus! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again, Savannah is a wonderful city!
