Budget Friendly Apartment on Jones Street!

Garden Apartment on Jones Street! King Bed, Shared Courtyard, Easy Free Parking On- Street.

Do not pay for upgrades you do not need! If all you really need is a great location and you do not need remodeled modern finishes to make you happy this could be a great fit.

Full Bath and Kitchen. This apartment is on the street level of a Savannah Grey Brick townhouse in the Historic District. There is a King bed in the bedroom, a TV in both bedroom and living room, a comfortable dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and even a shared (with the main house) courtyard out the back door. Amazing value for a large apartment in a prime location! King bed in bedroom, Rollaway Cot and a 4th person may sleep on the sofa. Bathroom located next to bedroom, accessible from hallway without walking through bedroom (great setup if someone is sleeping in the living room). Nice new Washer and Dryer in unit.

Please note, at some point last century the wall on the West side of the house which originally had arched openings into a side garden was fully bricked in to make a solid wall. Therefore 2 of the main windows in the apartment look out into a bricked-in corridor instead of onto the street. This makes for a very sound sleeping environment in the very dark bedroom! But it also cuts back on natural light in the unit. This is part of the reason the rate on this rental is 'budget friendly'. We do not want guests to be unpleasantly surprised when they look out the West facing windows, so we are disclosing this information to consider before booking.

Great place

Quiet, comfortable apartment, staying here was much more relaxing and private than a hotel. The area is beautiful and within walking distance to so much. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance to return to Savannah!

Fall break getaway

Always wanted to stay on Jones St! Enjoyed the beautiful houses and history. Close location to downtown and beach. Everything we needed in one spot. Owners were very attentive and easy to contact for anything we needed! If your looking for an easy, quiet getaway this is your place!

The location was great! Easy check in/out. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen can use an upgrade on cabinets and floors. We couldn’t get the tv in the bedroom to work, and the patio/garden was not very impressive.

Thanksgiving Gathering

We spent Thanksgiving at the property and it was perfect. I did not cook all the dinner from scratch, I did have enough room and cooking area to heat up and cook our meal. There was plenty of space for us to serve and eat. Thank you for giving us a space to celebrate and see the your beautiful city.

Disappointing

Without going into detail, I must say that this is the most disappointing property we have ever rented.It looked like it had not been properly cleaned in months, and many things were broken, faulty, or substandard.I will be contacting the hosts with pictures and descriptions.At least the location is great.

Certainly budget friendly

The location was great, and the apartment was clean. There are no windows in the bedroom which made for great sleeping, but very dark. The only way to let in fresh air and sunlight was to open the front door, but the screen door did not have a full screen on it. There was an additional screen you could put on the door frame with magnets if you wanted to keep that door open. In need of minor repairs and maintenance to make it more budget friendly and less a feeling of neglect. I

Weekend getaway

The location was great. The bed and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Very hard to sleep. A strong musty smell as soon as you walk in. It needs a deep cleaning there’s mildew or mold all on the walls and the vents. I get sick from mold and mildew. It could be a very nice place especially with the location. I would recommend updating a little bit, upgrading the bed and pillows and having a deep clean done on the walls and baseboards. It’s definitely a great location. The tenants or renters upstairs kept us awake and woke us up early. There were children running back-and-forth upstairs. But that is not your fault. Overall, I think if you could do these few changes, it would make a major difference.

Water coming up from floor

Musty smelling. When we realized water was coming from under the flooring, we called to report. All we got was “I wish you’d have called sooner.” Sent someone out to “look” at it. ?? It got worse and we heard nothing more. We thought maybe relocate us so they could fix the problem, but no. Went thru 2 rolls of paper towels by the end of our stay. Mold by the water heater too. This was most likely not the first problem. I can’t recommend this place. The location was good, hence the 2 stars.

Disappointing

When we walked into the apartment we immediately noticed a musty damp smell, so much so that we opened the doors to try and air it out. Upon running the air conditioner for a few days we realized why there was a musty smell. We noticed some water leaking out of the hall closet and onto the floor. We left a towel down to absorb the water, but that got me thinking, assuming this had happened to others, how clean were the towels? Upon arriving I noticed my bath towel smelled musty, maybe this was why? The pillowcases also smelled unclean. The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure and temperature were great. The location was wonderful, and the apartment was cute. But given the musty smell, the leaking air conditioner, and the seemingly lack of cleanliness of the towels, I cannot give this space a 5star review. 3 stars.

Loved this apartment! It was the perfect, romantic getaway for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It had just the right amount of modern updates while still maintaining classic Savannah charm. The king sized bed was a must-have and very comfortable too! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Not walking distance to old North Section but close enough to be a 3-4 minute drive. Very easy to hit Riverfront, Tybeeand Wormsloe. Minutes from many historic sites restaurants and shopping.
