We had a wonderful time in the Southern Belle. It was the perfect fit for us and close to all the things we had planned to do and see in Savannah. Hosts were very responsive and wonderful.
We really loved Duckies Cottage! It is very cute and comfortable, well-located, and has comfortable beds. It'd be a squeeze to try to fit 6 people here but we had 4 quite comfortably.
The location is perfect with parking right in front of the unit. This property is currently for sale, which is why I think there were a few issues that weren’t taken care of prior to our check-in. The shower pressure is so strong that it feels like it is beating you to death, the water only gets warm. It will not get hot, the globe on the light in the bathroom was broken, the TV remotes barely worked, and the king bed was so hard. It was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. It is decorated nicely and I felt safe in the neighborhood.
Parking was very easy and it felt secure. The cottage was comfortable for 4 people. Beds were great, washer and dryer great. Limited storage areas but that didn't take away from our enjoyment on the cottage. The Resort pool on Tybee island was absolutely lovely!
We enjoyed our stay. But would suggest to add a few things to make it a premier host. Such as a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom along with shampoo, extra towels etc.
A Relaxing and Cozy Getaway in the Victorian District
The property is beautiful and very comfortable. It is tastefully decorated (eerily similar to how our house is put-together!). It is well-stocked with needed supplies. The property is strategically located—-Krogers, the dog park and Forsyth park are all a short walk away. It is surrounded with beautiful Victorian style houses. We will rent this property again should we visit Savannah in the future.
Unable to use internet; Xfinity problem. One bqthroom poses problems for four people; can't imagine
It is okay. Street parking is a small problem, but it worked.

Decent stay
The property was cute. About 2-3 blocks too far away from the historic district. There were 3 issues with the property. 1. Big huge flies all over the bathroom and bedrooms. Bleh. 2. You could hear everything - cars going by, the 5am train, neighbors. 3. The ceiling fans in both bedrooms would cut on and off randomly and the light would turn on and off without control. Kind of weird. Overall not too bad.
Hello. For our first stay in Savannah, we'd have to say our accommodations were very comfortable. I can't think of anything that wasn't covered in the listing. We knew what to expect, and once there, it all made sense. The only issue we had was with the ceiling fan light in the primary bedroom. It came on on its own each morning fairly early as we were laying in bed and would turn on and off as we watched it. It is a small historic home, and we managed to squeeze 2 adults and 4 kids in the second bedroom and on the pullout sofa. All in all, a nice place...clean and comfortable and again, the listing was spot on. We hope to visit soon and would certainly stay again.

House cute but won't go back
The home was cute. This was our first time in Savannah. We brought our 2 Morkies with us. There was a dog park close by. The issue was the locals there don't always use leashes walking in the neighborhood. Several times we encountered this coming out. I did not feel that was a safe area to walk my dogs. Also, not close to historic areas. I don't mind walking the 25 to 30 minutes to get there, but if you don't have the trolly pass, you are in for an extreme amount of walking. Parking and driving was insane. Next time we would stay closer to town. Home is on a very busy, noisy street as well and with bedroom very close to the street, it's noisy all hours.
The thing I disliked the most about this one, we've stayed in many, was the lack of supplies. They make it clear in the contract, if you run out you buy your own. 2 one ounce bottles of 2 in 1 shampoo and 2 one ounce slivers of bar soap for a 5 day stay is not enough
Especially when there is no hand soap provided at all. We had to use dish soap which they gave us plenty of. I guess they wanted to make sure we could do the dishes. We were trying to use the toliet paper sparingly as we only had 3 rolls,, but it was very thin and didn't go far. They only gave you one towel per person. I suggest you bring your own as theirs are very coarse. They had a cabinet that had a latch on it to possibly lock. I looked in it and saw a check list. Looks as though they used to provide things for your stay but no longer do. The other thing was the TV and internet. It was horrible. We were only able to watch TV sporadically but never made it through a show. I did call and she thought it might be the weather. It was horrible service and very frustrating. Just felt like things could be better and definitely with supplies for what we paid. Would not recommend, would not go back.
Absolutely loved our stay in this very clean and comfortable cottage in Savannah. Beds were super comfortable. Walking distance to the Kroger for supplies, Bull Street and the riverfront.
The only change I would make is perhaps more space in the closets for the guests belongings. They were quite full of storage items for the cottage.
We would definitely rent this property again.
