"This is a nice property but my wife and I both got a stomach bacteria midweek and we did not fully recover until we got home where we had access to antibiotics. We were exposed to a gut bacteria that caused major GI problems. Also the food venues were at best average. RIU and Iberostar have much better food. I will not return to this resort. "

The only downside was the staff not being very friendly. Compared to the Dominican Republic or Mexico, the service here felt much weaker and less customer-oriented. I think management should pay attention to this. The young women at the front desk, in particular, seemed unhappy doing their job. These are usually the people who create the first impression of the hotel, and unfortunately, our first impression due to a tired and unfriendly receptionist was not very good. Also, on the beach you need to grab umbrellas early, otherwise by around 11 a.m. there are no spots left. This is because not only hotel guests use the beach, but also outside visitors, who tend to take spots quickly. So that’s another small downside. Overall, we liked everything else."
