The area is well located near hotels and markets. Property is ok well mantened only need have any fast communication option with management in case need something. Or in case another guest make noises or disturb the others.

Not a fancy hotel, but we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable. Full size kitchen with coffee maker, toaster oven, pots etc. to prepare a quick breakfast. Two beach chairs and a cooler are a great addition. Short drive to supermarkets and beaches. A car is a must. Overall great value for the price. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room was nice and clean. A little noisy in the evening from motorcycles and people beeping their horn. A few medium and small iguanas and lizards hanging around. Nice place to stay if your going to make some of your own food to save a buck. Pool is kept up.

Everything was as advertised, no disappointments. Turibana Plaza makes an excellent base for exploration of the island, you do need a car to get around and explore. We especially enjoyed the pool after a day of chasing around, we had it to ourselves several times. Try Cafe 080 for a meal within walking distance and Yen Yen Bar and Restaurant for Chinese take out. Enjoy.

Enjoyed our stay much...pool area & grill such an asset...however, the kitchen utensil items need restocking (especially compared to Unit 6 that we were in back in January)...we even left some knives behind that we brought with us...

the property was clean and a great location. we didn’t get to use the pool but they were cleaning it every morning as we were on our way out for the day. it looked very nice! one thing i wish was easier was being able to get ahold of someone for more sheets and towels and such things… i tried to send and email got no reply and tried to add the number on what’s app and said it wasn’t a number and i had to relay on running into a worker in the morning to ask for more paper towels, shower towels and garbage bags. other then that minor issue our stay was great and we will absolutely be back.

Turibana Plaza room 14 was comfortably cool and clean. Adequately equipped with pots, pans, utensils, panini toaster, coffee pot, blender, electric kettle, microwave with vents & surface lights, stove for meal prep. I slept like a log in my king size bed. Looked forward to my hot water showers. Staffed checked in on me regularly. The room attendants were friendly but you may need a Translation app as most are Spanish-speaking. The ‘guard dogs’ are ‘on duty’ most nights as sound echoes through the rooms but I slept through it. Felt safe as the main entrances to the rooms have security codes. Overall I was quite comfortable at Turibana. I definitely would return.

Just ok… will definitely pass in the future!

We needed 4 nights mid-trip and landed here. The room was clean and had almost everything we would need, except a major missing item any hotel room should have- a safe. I do not recall if the room stated there would be one when I booked but we were majorly disappointed when we realized there wasn’t one. I reached out to the hosts asking about it and never received a response. On our 2nd night we arrived back to the hotel with more luggage and there was no power to that part of the island so we were completely locked out of the building as the exterior doors need to be opened electronically with a keypad code. I messaged and called numerous times to see if there was someone to come physically unlock the doors and never received a response. So here we are with luggage and food just sitting outside the building. My friend went in search of someone and found a kind woman (housekeeper?) who had keys. She unlocked the doors and left the latch open so the doors would stay open. The doors were still unsecured 2 days later when we left. The beds are TERRIBLY uncomfortable and the pillows are so bad!! The tv was all in Spanish and we couldn’t figure it out, thankfully I had a Firestick. The room size was fine for 2 adults and the pool was GREAT! I wish it had railings to aid in entering/exiting but my friend was there to help me. The stairs were a real pain for bringing luggage in and out, a kind man helped us at checkout. Likely wouldn’t stay again. Hosts need better communication!

The room was clean and comfortable for what it was. I didn’t know when I booked this place that we would have to walk up and down 23 outside stairs everyday. I was informed of the code code to get in the building, and our door would be open with keys on the counter when we arrived. That was not the case. Thankfully, the cleaning staff was still there and helpful. They had to get us the code to unlock our door. The next morning, we were locked inside of our room because the door knob was broken. There is a door knob and a deadbolt. I opened the window, and I yelled out at a gentleman that was sweeping up the parking lot. And of course, there was a language barrier he didn’t understand.. I then, messaged on WhatsApp that we were locked in our room and could not get out. I received an auto response stating their hours of operation were from 8:30 AM to 5pm. We had been trying to get out for an hour. I messaged them back and told them, it was 8:30 AM. They finally responded that they would send maintenance. We had taken a butter knife and removed the door knob and were able to open the door. Maintenance arrived at that moment and put the broken door knob back on. They told us we were not able to lock the door knob. We could only use the deadbolt from here on out. So that is what we did. Getting a warm shower did not exist. The water never turned hot. We took cold showers the entire time we were there. The condition of the room could have been better… The air conditioner did not
