"The hotel was very well located in the downtown core. Walking distance to everything. the beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. Good size bathroom. I would recommend this hotel."

"The BATHROOM was horrible..mold or dirt at the bottom corner of the tub,gap with dirt in a few of the tub tiles. The hook ripped out of bathroom door leaving holes in the door, some of the white towels were not white but grimy Grey, the hot water for the tub went very very slow. FLOOR.. carpet had rips in it BEDS..THE ONE NEAR THE WINDOW has lumps and a metal edge to the mattress. The mattress on the right bed is very firm. LIGHT ..the floor lamp and it's electrical outlet didn't work. We didn't use any of the utensils in the room So don't know ow if they work"

"I really need your room service team to stop using the top lock on the doors to prop them open when cleaning the rooms. They let them bang every time they come in and out and when you have a guest trying to sleep in, this was incredibly obnoxious and inconsiderate to your guests. Why do you not have door stops to prop the doors open when cleaning them to prevent as much noise pollution in the mornings? This made me rageful for how much your team wasn't considering how it was affecting other people."

"This small boutique hotel was exceptional. It exceeded our expectation and their attention to detail was noticed. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend the Sydney. It was the first time we stayed and we are frequent travellers to Charlottetown. It’s within walking distance of everything and their adorable courtyard was perfection overlooking the park."

"Beautiful property, very clean resort, and a great location, but the stay was ultimately disappointing because of the room temperature. The air conditioning would not cool the room below 25 degrees, which made the room extremely uncomfortable during the day and difficult to sleep in at night. Guests staying at a resort advertised as an upscale experience should reasonably expect to have proper control over the room climate to match the way the property markets and presents itself. A fan was offered by staff and appreciated, but it did not resolve the issue. If staying multiple nights, the heat in the rooms could become quite uncomfortable. Based on my experience, unless you are staying in one of the cottages, I would not personally recommend a longer stay until the climate control issues are addressed. It gave the impression that corners were being cut in areas that matter to guests despite the resort advertising a higher-end experience. That said, the beach is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of the property. Fin Folk was also excellent, with unbelievable staff and a great atmosphere. The lobby bar, lounge areas, beach access, and sauna all added to the overall PEI vibe of the resort. The property has a lot of potential, but the room temperature issues took away from what could have been a much better stay."
