Cherokee Ridge 5 - Free Spring Night

The colors are calming and the decor soft and cozy. In this open floor plan, you can enjoy the gas fireplace from the couch or the king size bed. A trundle was recently added giving sleeping space for two more guests. The trundle is two twin beds. There is a large flat screen television mounted on the wall that can also be seen from both places. The kitchen is equipped with a full size oven with range, a mid-size refrigerator and a dishwasher. There is also a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom has a full size tub and shower, and you even have a washer and dryer!

Enjoy the evening relaxing in the hot tub on the back porch. Cherokee Ridge 5 is pet-friendly, because we consider them family, too! There is even a doggy gate on the porch so you can truly relax knowing your pet is nearby. A one-time per pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). A gas grill is on the porch for those cook-outs you have been planning.

This is a group vacation properties with 3 others along the same road, but you have all the privacy you expect. Perfectly located, you are only 2 miles from Unicoi State Park were there's swimming, hiking and fishing; only 5 miles from downtown Helen. With WiFi available, you can surf the web for all of the fun and exciting things to do in the Northeast Georgia Mountains!

Please note that this is an open floor plan or studio cottage. The television can be seen from both the sofa and the king bed. This cottage does not have private bedrooms.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

Peaceful cabin

Cabin was very clean and well kept! The hot tub was also fantastic after a day of hiking and exploring. Having a cup of coffee on the pirch was devine. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable Mountain Retreat

Cute little cabin on top of the hill. Very private at the end of the dead end. Cabin is well equipped. Television wasn't the best reception, but we weren't there to watch tv. Bring a fire stick or other streaming device and you'll be fine. Great WIFI. Hot tub was nice at night with the gas fire pit going next to it. Close to Helen and Anna Ruby falls.

One good thing: GPS actually took us straight to it! It's secluded and quiet. However, the whole cabin desperately needs a make over. The kitchen needs a new microwave, the fridge had hair in it and needed to be cleaned. ait,angues

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This property was perfect for our weekend away! It was very clean, easy to find, loved the private location and hot tub in the deck. They were very accommodating and we really appreciated our fur friend being welcomed as well. They left extra towels for him and the gate on the deck was perfect to allow him in and out. We would definitely stay at this property again if we’re ever back in the area! Also, thanks for having a corkscrew in the kitchen for my wine!

We decided to go back again this year and stayed in Cherokee 5, it was just as great! We love the private decks with the hot tubs and fire pit! Great place to relax and unwind after enjoying all the festivities in town. Location is perfect not too far from town and not too close to the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be back again!!

Absolutely Perfect Week

This cottage was perfect for two people and our two dogs. It was private, quiet, and so relaxing. The hot tub was amazing. It was easy to find from Helen, GA, and was completely as stated, fully equipped for a very comfortable week. Georgia Mountain Rental staff was attentive, courteous, and cared for any needs. 1st time in Helen Ga. This was the best of both worlds. The cottage was a beautiful retreat after a day of tubing, dining, and shopping

Decent for the price

Other properties leading in really gave us a scare! Overall it was a good stay though, TV situation could definitely need an upgrade in size for a late night movie or a Saturday evening ball game while grilling. Wind got up during the night & there was lots of noise from trees or shrubs rubbing the cottage. We was happy to find out it wasn't bears, lol. It ended being a quiet & relaxing weekend.

This set the tone for our stay, and although we had a great time in Helen, where we have been many times, it was shocking to be so totally misled about the cabin. Be honest. By itself, it’s a great little property. But it does not have 2 bedrooms.

Cute getaway

The property was nice for a weekend getaway, close to Helen and lots of sightseeing. We wanted a quiet getaway, which this was. We also wanted a hottub and fireplace, which is why we rented this cabin. The kitchen was well appointed, it had everything you could need to make complete meals, minus the food.The biggest drawback, and our only complaints are in regard to the hottub and the fireplace, both are the primary reasons we rented this particular cabin, both were disappointing. The hottub jets did not work well, and the hottub did not hold a consistent temperature. The outdoor firepit worked well, the indoor fireplace did not work. We were told to jiggle the logs to get it to light, that didnt work, it only extinguised the pilot light, which we were unable to light again. It would have been helpful to have a manual with operating instructions.The cabin in general was basically clean. The floor could have been a little cleaner, or maybe a swiffer left behind so we could touch it up. The cute record player was a nice touch. A fun addition. All in all, we were happy with the rest of our stay at the cabin, it would have been great if everything worked.I recommend this rental if you want a quiet stay. I don't recommend it if you are looking forward to using the hottub or fireplace. We would have saved the extra money and rented a cabin in the state park, or one of the many other cabins for rent, instead.
