Convenient to the Alpine Helen Village, this cottage allows you to enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia mountains while taking in the charm of Helen without breaking your budget.
Our quaint Bear Paw Cottage is reminiscent of the motor court of the past and offers level parking, which makes this cottage great for motorcycle enthusiasts or people who want to avoid a cabin with a lot of stairs. This cozy cabin has a BRAND NEW queen sized LOG BED overlooking the wood burning fireplace. The kids will love climbing the ladder to the loft with a full sized memory foam mattress,
Our studio-style Bear Paw Cottage comfortably sleeps two adults and up to two small children.
Enjoy having dinner at one of our many great restaurants in town or cook yourself in your cabin's well equipped kitchenette!
We also offer a charcoal grill and gazebo covered picnic tables in the common area so that you may enjoy even more of the beauty of our North Georgia mountains.
Don't forget to bring the marshmallows! There is a large firepit to spend some quality time making smores, singing songs, relaxing, and star gazing!
Firewood is provided for the outdoor firepit! Please DO NOT use indoors!

A Little Bit of Heaven!

My husband and I absolutely loved out stay at Timber Loft Cabins. We could not have been happier with the location. The cabin is small, quaint and just what we were looking for to get away for a bit for my birthday. Penny and Shawn were great host and we plan on returning for many years to come!

As advertised. Clean bed, many kitchen items provided. Beautiful scenery. Out of 7 cottages, we were the only ones. We were lucky!!! Next time we will utilize the fire pit. Close to downtown Helen Used the hot tub every night. We will be back

The location is great, nestled in the trees off the main travel roads. The particular cabin I was in had a hot tub that was slightly difficult to work (be that bad instructions or malfunctioning equipment) but we still got to use it!!! My only real complaint is the HUMIDITY inside when we arrived was immense. Bedding was wet to the touch, and felt worse than outdoors. But this was easily remedied with leaving the property for the entire day while the air conditioner and dehumidifier ran overall it was great, especially for the price, just not fantastic.

Convenient and quiet

Very convenient location to downtown. Just as the description said, small and cozy. Really nice to have the fireplace in this cold season (December) and the hot tub was a bonus! Not one of those screaming hot jacuzzis but still nice in the cold. Bed was comfortable and the amenities were perfectly suited for a nice weekend getaway but I could easily see staying a week or more and being satisfied. We will definitely come back here again, especially with the prices. Downtown is much more expensive but you pay to be within walking distance of drinking and shopping. We were more focused on the quiet and the hot tub!

We booked a last minute getaway to Helen with our 2 cats. This property was about 3 miles away from town, however, the roads are 35 and 30 mph. The cabin was clean and basic and exactly as described. I was grateful that they were willing to accommodate our cats. Penny was extremely responsive. The WiFi was very dependable. My husband and I both worked from the cabin the first day. The negatives were there was no food delivery available. It was further away from the main town then we would have preferred. But this was a small inconvenience. Depending on what you want to do, it may not be a factor. It was very small. But like I said, it was as described

The place is in such a good location! There was lots of space for my puppies, and there is a trash area, so you dont have to hold onto your trash the whole trip. Check in and out was easy and it was nice to park infront of the house.
