"The Lord Nelson is very close to many historical places that I wanted to see. I could go out each night and walk through the Public Gardens, the Citadel was about 3 blocks away. The Old Burying Ground cemetery was about 4 blocks away. I was so happy with the location. The Arms restaurant had the best seafood chowder. My room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and acknowledged my birthday with a box of chocolates with a card and the next day I had chocolate cheesecake in my fridge! I was most content. Thank you!"

"The room was clean, the front desk lady was helpful. The TV did not work. Accessibility to the hotel was difficult as there was no ramp and walking up stairs is difficult. Parking was an issue as there were not enough spaces for all who had a car. Street parking only and we had to search which took an hour. There was no support from the front desk."

"Great location and home base after visiting Halifax and surrounding areas. We had a car and it was short and convenient rides to everything. Condo was very well equipped with little things like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel saran wrap plus dishes and utensils. As well as soap, shampoo and conditioner. Wonderful stay for my husband and I."

"This was our first time visiting Halifax, NS. This place was very clean, comfortable bed, fantastic location for anything you want to do in Halifax. Pictures were very accurate of inside. Loved that this place has private parking in a garage. Communication with our host, Jeff was efficient and responded fast. You will not be disappointed staying here and the view is great!"

"We found the property location very convenient for all the amenities and attractions of Halifax. Easy access to highways and lookout points like along Herring Cove while also very easy to get downtown. There is a roundabout nearby that can get busy though. A short distance to a waterfront walking trail was a very nice feature. Although not directly on the water you can see shimmering water through the trees from the dining room or hear a running stream from the back deck. The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable lending to a good night’s sleep. I found communication with the property management was excellent. Any questions or issues we had (e.g. it was getting colder so we requested the window air conditioning units to be removed) were answered and dealt with promptly. "
