Pretty gite with pool, located 5 min from Sarlat

The property is situated in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Sarlat, on a plot of land of 1/2 hectare, with meadows and a small wood at the tenants' disposal. A few ewes with their lambs live on the meadow opposite the property and everyone can visit them as they wish. 250 metres away from the road is a private access road. The swimming pool is now semi-covered and heated, with a living room for 8 people and a dining table, ideal for an excellent convivial moment. The owner, Artisan biscuitier also lives on the property, but there is no opposite him. The tenants can, if they wish, come and taste biscuits in friendship.

A deposit of 300 euros will be requested on arrival and returned on departure.
If you wish to take the cleaning option, you will be asked for 33 euros at the end of your stay.
The payments linked to the booking must be made online to block your dates on our calendar.

Lovely stay near beautiful Sarlat

We had a lovely stay! The property was as described, and in the hot weather it was really nice to be able to cool down in the pool. The property owner, Evelyne, does not speak a lot of english, but with the help of a translator app we managed to communicate quite well. A few minor issues were quickly sorted out, and one day she even brought us fresh eggs.

An ideal holiday

Evelynes house had everything we needed for a very enjoyable week. The property was in a beautiful location and lacked nothing in terms of kitchen equipment, bedding etc. and the pool was an absolute delight. Evelyne brought us some eggs from her own chickens when we arrived which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Stay in the Dogdoyne

The accommodation was comfortable and the host was very friendly. Thé gîte is in a good area if you want to use it as a base for touring. The swimming pool is a delight. Most of the day out touring followed by a swim at teatime. Great combination. Oh and the biscuits were great. Thank you.

Peaceful stay

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay. Gite has everything you could need for a self catering holiday. Bed was very comfortable and large shower. Lovely secluded private pool. So quiet in the evening and at night. Great biscuits from the factory shop at the bottom of the property. Owner was very helpful dispite our total lack of basic French . We had a great 2 weeks with so many great places within 30 to 40 minute drive. Would certainly recommend this gite for your 1st visit to the dordogne region.

Evelyne is very welcoming and helpful. The Gite, as advertised, is pretty and well equipped. It's location is exceptional. 5 minutes from the busy centre of Sarlat Evelyne showed us a route in, on the first Saturday, which avoided the Market day traffic and delivered us to free parking 400 metres from the Medieval Centre. Evelyne also recommended a Restaurant, L'Esprit Sarlat, which was superb. Due to a cold & wet snap we could not use the pool but the Gite's heating was more than up to the task. The Gite's location proved exceptional with 2 supermarkets within minutes and easy access to an extensive list of tourist highlights. We visited Sarlat (repeatedly), Castelnaud, Jardins de Marqueysac, Domme, Hautefort, Gouffre De Padirac, Rocamadour, Beynac and Roque Gageac. Many thanks

A beautiful area to explore

Wonderfully equipped, quiet beautiful setting, a bit rural and therefore a car is needed, anything necessary is nearby, the hostess was very friendly and accessible. The Dordogne area is full of interesting things to see. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay.

Beautiful property very near to Sarlat, Evelyn our host was wonderful nothing was too much trouble, we came back from a day out and she had put a gift of fresh eggs from her hens and walnuts we thoroughly enjoyed both. LOVELY QUIET STAY

A guide for the property would have been useful, to cover things such as how to use the TV (we never did work it out!!), what to do with general rubbish and recycling, how the induction hob works (we did work it out eventually, but.....), instructions for the pool (who fills it, cleans it, etc), recommendations for local attractions/ restaurants (there was a basket with leaflets in but far too many to go through), etc. That said, the host Evelyn was lovely and helpful, and we got the holiday we wanted; peaceful and relaxing.

Gite très bien situé, proche toutes commodités. Maison confortable, bien équipée. Une très agréable terrasse avec salon et chaises longues ainsi qu'une table et chaises permettant de prendre les repas dehors, le tout dans la nature entouré d'arbres et de massifs de fleurs. Cerise sur le gâteau, une très belle piscine à 29 degrés Une hôtesse disponible, discrète, d'une grande gentillesse. Fantastisch verblijf gehad in Sarlat

Het vakantiehuis met verwarmd zwembad (kleine extra vergoeding voor verwarming zwembad na 1 oktober) voldeed aan onze wensen. Goed verzorgd en met alle voorzieningen. Veel privacy op een terrein van ruim een halve hectare. Een aanrader. De eigenaresse, Evelyne, is zeer attent en respecteert de privacy.
