The view was breathtaking! Súper close to Oia activities and nightlife (~10min walk depending where you were going). The lady who owns the house was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

I had the pleasure of staying at Lava Oia's for 4 nights, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The view that you get is breathtaking. You get to see the rest of the village as well as the Aegean Sea, and I believe it's one of the best you can get from a hotel in Oia. The owner, Ms. Petridou, as well as the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. As other people have mentioned, they truly do treat you like family. The room that you get (I was in the Honeymoon suite) is very cozy and really gives off that traditional vibe. The location of the hotel is great as well. Just a set of stairs up and you're right at the main road where you can walk further down into the pedestrian-only town. If you're looking for a place to stay in Oia where you have a great view, great accommodations, friendly staff, and perfect location, then Lava Oia's is the place to be!

I cannot recommend this property enough. If you are looking for an authentic, traditional Greek experience this is the place for you. The view is to die for, the room and bed is comfortable, and the location has perfect access to the road and to the small village/shopping area of Oia. The best part of this property is the owner. She loves what she does, prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning, and gave us great recommendations of what to do in Santorini and Naxos. We had missing luggage from our flight to Greece and she even went to the Santorini airport herself to try to track it down. I will be back to Santorini again just to stay at Lava Oias!

The location in Oia is excellent, the apartment has a front courtyard which offers most amazing view of the caldera while you sit and relax in the lounging chairs that are provided. The apartment we stayed in "Superior Studio" itself is very small, and may feel claustrophobic to some as the bedroom is built into the hill. The bathroom is very tiny and unsuitable for anyone who is very tall and has special needs, the apartment itself is very tiny and unsuitable to anyone who is not physically agile. You need to walk down (and back up to the street) on a long set of stairs which is not recommended for anyone older, or for anyone with physical problems or special needs. The host was very friendly.

Property is not liveable. Not allowed to dispose toilet paper in toilet, hot water to be turned on only when needed, shower is awful, the water comes out to the floor. Steps to go up and horrible.

Awesome place and best location with caldera view.

Lava Oia. We loved our stay in this place. Perfect place to stay in Oia-Santorini. Location was perfect not far from the local shopping, restaurants and the famous 3 blue domes. All of this was walking distance. The host of this place was very nice and friendly. She went out of the way and gave service to us. The host is such a lovable person. This is a traditional cave house which was built almost 100 years ago. So it was a great feeling to live in this cave house where people used to live 100 years ago. It’s a very traditional house. You will love it. We booked this place because of location. It’s perfect in every way. We had the perfect caldera view which ever person wants who visits Santorini. You cannot go wrong by choosing this location. Most of the hotels in Santorini during summer is very expensive but this was perfect priced.
