This was our first time in Santorini. The hotel had a beautiful view of the Caldera. The staff was amazing. My husband and I we had breakfast and Dinner at Katrins. It was really good food. The last night we had fish there, it was very freah amd delicious. The hotel had alot of dining options near by as well.

Terrible!!! 😭 I booked a luxurious hotel and Kratiras was not that! I honestly don't like to give bad reviews. However, I was extremely disappointed with this property. As a solo female traveller, I need to feel safe, I didn't at this hotel. The view is spectacular, but that's it! The view! I came to Santorini for my birthday and paid for luxury, but I didn't get it at Kratiras. The place is very old and unclean! The Lady/owner is nice but her husband isn't, he shouted at me because I wanted to get a cup to make some tea. Why there aren't any cups, but there's a kettle? I checked in late and checked out very early the next morning. I was in tears because I was not comfortable. The Lady at a nearby hotel, Daydream Suite was very accommodating and sweet. I spent the duration of my time there for less money. Kratiras needs to do major work on that property and the little pool was dirty.

This place was incredible from the word go. Pants and Angelo felt like family by the time we left. They saw to our every need. Pools and hot tub were great after all our walking. View from the room could not be surpassed. We had one of the most epic dinners of our lives, which we’ll never forget. Shopping, excursions, airport are all close. Nice property but it was located right by donkey area so you could smell the donkey poo everyday But staff was nice and friendly and helped to arrange transfers and helped to carry luggage to transfer area

We had an excellent stay!! The room was clean, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was so enjoyable, we looked forward to it every morning. Pros: The view from the room was amazing. Cons: This is run by the restaurant owned by the same people. Check in was Inflexible, and unfriendly. There is no concierge or reception, there’s an office they keep empty and someone from the kitchen in the restaurant will come to get you checked in. Getting to the room is not an easy task, it’s a long walk from the public parking (20 minutes through steep steps filled with donkey feces used) so if carrying heavy luggage I can see this being a very difficult task. Also, NO PRIVACY. Rooms are all using the same balcony area so people walk around right outside your room. We noticed even people just wanting to take photos and not guests of this facility
