Golden East was the perfect place to stay! In a quiet area away from the hustle of the bigger towns, but still centrally located and a quick drive away from anywhere we wanted to go. Staff are extremely helpful, responsive, and nice. They helped us book airport and port transfers as well as a vehicle to get around the island. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

Property was clean and really pretty! Definitely would stay again if I return to Santorini. The manager was great, he was a lovely person and made our experience even better as he was very informative about local restaurants and activities. Great manager.

Room super clean. Bungalow adorable. Perfect for a Greece stay, until you get hungry. No restaurants in sight down either road. Told to walk about a mile to town. Sunset not visible. It disappears on other side of mtn. No passing taxi’s. Stuck unless you rent a car. While the pool advertises as an infinity pool, it is not what you expect. It is surrounded by a patio like a normal backyard pool. Views to shoreline include many wires and some overgrown bushes so don’t go for the view, sunset, or infinity pool.

Great service, beautiful views!

Loved this hotel and the staff were beyond amazing. They helped us arrange airport pickups, made it very easy! We got in early and they checked us in, we were able to spend time at the pool and they got us in our room early. On our departure day we had an early flight, they gave us a to go breakfast the night before. The staff was amazing, by far the best hospitality we experienced on our trip.

George was very welcoming upon our arrival and gave us all the necessary information for our stay. Double check your driving route to the hotel as Our GPS directed us up and incredibly steep and sketchy hill. Lovely hotel, Great area, and we really enjoyed the pool. Thanks!

The staff were EXTREMELY nice. The only downside is that they’re unavailable after 1700 so pray nothing goes wrong after 5pm. The closest restaurants are about 1 hour walking distance. If you’re able to find a taxi it’s about 10 mins. I recommend just staying somewhere in the city to cut down on the amount of walking and taxis you may need

Location is excellent if you’re looking for a quieter place to stay and relax. It is in the middle of Fira and Oia. The room is great, overlooking the aegean sea. Breakfast is delivered in the room with generous serving. Swimming pool is a bonus. We enjoyed it very much. George who manages the property is friendly, approachable, very knowledgeable and flexible in all our needs. I recommend hiring a car although the roads are narrow and challenging it is very convenient in going around the place. Oia is just 22 mins and Fira is just 17 min away from the hotel. The hotel has free parking too! I highly recommend this place.

The staff were excellent. The manager, George, and other staff did their best. We really thank them. However, the room was not convenient at all. The sleeping area was upstairs with a set of spiral stairs. firstly, the stairs were quite inconvenient for climbing up and down, specially if you are a person who goes to washroom during night. secondly, the sleeping area has a very low ceiling. Almost all time we bumped our heads to the ceiling. Button line, quite inconvenient space, even if you use it for just sleeping. If you are a big girl/guy, that would make it extremely inconvenient to stay in such a room.

U need a car/taxi to get anywhere from the property. The bus stopped once for us but the next day 2 buses drove past without stopping so ended up calling a taxi. The place and staff are new to the business-there r cups and glasses but nothing else to even stir ur coffee. Needs cutlery, plates,tea towel. Over 2 days breakfast was served with again no spoons for coffee,1 napkin for 2 people. No eggcup or cup for the soft boiled egg which turned out to be hard boiled anyway. Desperately need more light in the bathroom specially in shower area. Could do with a small foldaway clothes dryer. Every guest was hanging towels,swimmers over the chairs on their front patio, us included. George’s was helpful and friendly and graciously accepted the few points we discussed to improve things. Ive run a small hotel for 14 years so could tell straightaway him and his team were new to the industry. No major issues but should take a bit more care of the smaller details. All in all a lovely cosy place. Really liked the big covered patio out the front. And the pool is beautiful !

The breakfast options were great, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we slept so well! The internet speed was excellent, which made everything super convenient. A big shoutout to AJ at reception – so friendly, articulate, and genuinely helpful. The apartment was always spotless thanks to the cleaner, and it smelled amazing every time we walked in. Had a wonderful stay at the property. The staff were nice and very accommodating. Nathalia made sure to have the room ready for an early checkin which was so greatly appreciated since we were traveling since 2am that morning. The property is in a great central location 15 mins away from Fira and Oia, and has views of a spectacular sunrise each morning. Would definitely recommend this property
