Wonderful stay at Amber Lights Villas! We spent a week in the hotel and had a great stay - the rooms are beautiful wach with their own peivate terrace areas so feel very private. All the staff were super helpful and welcoming, helping us will arranging taxis, transfers and advice on the island. The only downside is that the location is pretty remote and mainly accessible by car. If you do not have a car/taxi then the walk to the nearest main road is via a very steep uphill walk however you could easily enjoy a trip only staying at the hotel!

The property, rooms, and staff are fantastic. The location of the hotel was the only negative. There is nothing within walking distance, so be prepared to spend €20-30 on each ride to town or rent a vehicle. If you don’t mind spending money on transportation then you can’t go wrong with this hotel.

The property is beautiful and in a very peaceful, quiet location. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend renting a car to get around because there is nothing in walking distance. The bar ran out of beer which was a bummer and breakfast was cold every morning (but very good). A second coffee machine would have been nice as there was a line to use it each morning. Overall a great place to stay!

Hotel was spacious, nice scenery. Unfortunately the jacuzzi water was cold, we choose the room in hope to enjoy a hot tub but were disappointed. Breakfast was the same thing daily, it will be nice if they had more variety

Clean, spacious rooms and helpful staff, but overall disappointing for the price. The location isn’t walkable—no paved road, no restaurants or cafés nearby—so a rental car for the duration of the stay is a must. The view looks nice only at night or from certain angles, the real view from the balcony is very underwhelming. Breakfast was very limited with almost no fresh fruit, not what you’d expect at $500/night. Charging €2 for Nespresso pods felt offensive. Staff try their best, but with only one person at the desk, check-in/out can be slow. Spacious rooms and good service, but it’s not for those expecting a signature Santorini view, walkability, or luxury breakfast options.

Beautiful rooms w beautiful views of the ocean. Nice to have a private pool. Breakfast was awesome. Staff really helpful. Only downside is lack of things to do around the hotel. Isolated from shopping, Dinning, exploring. Most excursions will not pick you up from this hotel since buses cannot access thru the dirt road. Consider renting a car if staying at this hotel. Uber is ridiculous at $40 a ride no matter the distance. Taxi is ok but can add up quickly. Otherwise love the room, the staff, and good breakfast.
