"Our first time in Rome and this Hotel did not disappoint.
We found this Hotel while researching places to stay in Rome, and happened upon this Hotel. It looked like everything we were looking for. Upon our arrival the Front desk staff allowed us to leave our bags so that we could go explore the city while we waited for our room to be ready. The hotel is very close to the Colosseum so we were able to walk down and explore that area of the city. Once our room was ready we went up and were greeted by a clean and wonderful room. A beautiful small balcony with a little table and chairs sat over looking the Colosseum. It was truly a wonderful room. We slept every night almost with the doors open and the fresh Roman air greeting us. Every day our room was clean and freshened for us. Front desk staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable, always there to offer suggestions for local places to eat, and places to explore. The hotel itself is beautiful and we loved the historic feel of the hotel itself. it is beautifully decorated and felt like a little slice of Heaven. It also feels very secure as they have gated entry. Our trip was truly wonderful and we hope to stay again in this beautiful Hotel. "
"Wonderful staff namely, Jayson in the dining area, Sem, Jomar or Joper and the night shift Filipino guy who’s very hardworking. They made sure we had a wonderful stay and made us feel very welcome.
Thank you! You were the true star of Augusta Lucilla Palace! "
"Wonderful hotel - very central surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and like many other people have said - fantastic breakfast! Would definitely stay here again."
