"The hotel was very nice, although tucked away from most shopping or dining places, the restaurants and bars were good. Our only negative was the breakfast was a little expensive and the spa service asked if we wanted firm pressure or light pressure and even though we asked for firm pressure and told the lady we wanted firm pressure it was more of a Rub down than a massage. Otherwise we enjoyed everything about our stay."

"I loved my room. It was an actual beach and sea view I could enjoy from my bed with the floor to ceiling windows compared to some of the other hotels I tried on the beach. The breakfast was another highlight. The champagne was a lovely surprise. The staff were very nice and friendly as well. The welcome drink was a nice touch too. "

"Arena Ipanema is an excellent choice for a hotel stay. Nice clean rooms. Included breakfast is a nice bonus. Great location, quick walk to Ipanema Beach, a lot of restaurants nearby. Staff was very nice from check in to check out (including housekeeping). They were quick to address the sudden loud noise coming from guests upstairs. The young lady at the front desk always had a genuine ready smile whenever we passed by. Shout out to David Santos who would stay with us outside and chatted as we waited for Uber. You can tell he genuinely loved interacting with the hotel guests. We highly recommend this hotel."

"My sister and I really had a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing! Some of the sites, attractions and the old town were 40-45 minutes drive and sometimes longer with traffic but Ubers were easy to find and very affordable. "
