Adorable!
This little cottage was perfect for my little family (me, husband, dog). It was very cute and clean and perfect for our spring time getaway! We love the location! It has easy access to all that lovely 30a has to offer.

Perfect beach place for girls' weekend!
Perfect beach home! This was a spacious, well equipped home for our girls' weekend. Everything promised was delivered. Connie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, including a very nice bottle of wine to greet us! The beach is a close walk, and Connie provided all we needed to get there! Thanks, Connie! Hope to see you again!

Traveling with two mini dachshunds.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the studio. The furnishings were of the highest quality and beautiful. Our two pups made themselves right at home in the fenced in yard. It was great to be able to open the door and let them out. We rode our bikes to the surrounding towns and to the beach. Great fun!

Great little place!!
My husband and I and our two dogs stayed in the studio for a long weekend. We loved it! The backyard is fenced in and great for relaxing and letting our dogs run around. Ms. Connie was so nice and accomodating..She made sure we had everything we needed. The studio is decorately nicely and is stocked with everything that is needed. Within walking distance to the beach but in a nice secluded environment with little traffic. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We would definitely go back and hope to in the fall!

PERFECT BEACH STAY
My Husband and I searched for a place to stay with our lab, Dakota. We stumbled across this property and after a couple of emails with Connie, the owner, we were happy to book for three nights.
The studio is wonderfully decorated and impeccably clean. We were very happy when we walked in the door and saw how beautiful the place was. Every inch of the studio is thought out and well stocked with supplies. The bed was very cozy and it was nice having the little sofa in the bedroom for the dog. Dakota made herself right at home and enjoyed her time as well.
The property is a short walk from the beach, but we did not mind it at all. Each evening we walked our dog to the beach and threw the ball into the ocean for her.
Connie was sweet and accomodating. She gave us suggestions on where to go when we asked her about places to go. She even talked us through how to turn the TV on when we were having trouble figuring out how to turn the cable on.
We will definately be booking again for our next beach trip in Seagrove!
Thanks Connie!

Unhappy
I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism from the owner and the house is at the end of a long gravel road half a mile from the beach which was further than expected. The studio is extremely small but well furnished. We had a friend from a neighboring town stop by for dinner (knowing he had to be gone by midnight as stated in the lease) and the ownder kindly showed us where to have him park. At 11:00pm I received a text message from the owner reminding us that our guest must leave by midnight; at 11:35pm someone came pounding loudly on the window to the studio and yelling our guest must leave immediately! When we realized it was the owner pounding loudly on the window we went outside to see her with two other people we had never seen before standing behind her. She continued to state loudly that our guest must leave immediately and we were extremely embarrassed as our guest walked to his car with the owner standing and watching (mind you this is still before the midnight curfew). We have a small, compact car and it barely fit in the assigned parking space. The backyard has a nice seating area however it is all sand and gravel so it's not very ideal for pets.
Clean cottage. End of a gravel road. Very private and quiet (except for the croaking frogs, which is pretty great). The back of the house is a separate studio, so it is possible, but rare to spot another guest.
Walk to beach is ok. Solid 5 minutes.
Lots of quirky odds and ends make this place seem different than all the bland modern condos in the area. But still very clean.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Cottage pictures are misleading
The property manager is very accommodating and kind however there are several drawbacks to the property. The front door cannot be utilized due to some lock issue. Not a good thing in case of fire. There were small pissants, flea type bugs, in the bathroom so you could not leave anything out that would have water, ie your toothbrush, or they would crawl all over it and in the bristles. The house has a very musty smell. The picture of the bikes on the VRBO page is misleading because it does not come with bikes. The picture of the beds on the VRBO page is also misleading because one of the beds is photographed twice with different comforters. The towels are not white, instead they are a mismatched set so they clearly are not bleached or sanitized prior to the next renter's use, the road is gravel and very hard to traverse to get to the beach, and the way to the beach is now closed so you must walk around rather than cut through. The second beach access you have to walk through brackish water to get to the beach which is not easy to do if you are carrying things or simply want to go for a walk. The parking is very difficult because the owner/property manager who lives at the back of the house parks her two vehicles there so to park your one vehicle and turn around is a challenge. The tv's described are very small and really need updating.

Connie was great - property was lovely
My sister, my daughter and I enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. Connie was EXCELLENT in communications, directions, etc. Her property was decorated lovingly and beautifully. One small thing. I didn't notice in the listing that the house was shared. I was startled to find a car there and then when out on the deck saw a young man walk from the back of the house to the driveway., Evidently a small area that is divided off in the back of the house was rented out also. That being said, as long as you are prepared for that, it was great.

Perfect little spot
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The place was small and we spent the time we were there in the bedroom but it was charming, well decorated and we didn't need anything more than that. We would definitely stay there again.

Great little getaway....
My husband & I-- along with Chloe (our 16 year old small Lab) ) and Scout (our 11 mo. old Golden Doodle)-- enjoyed our stay at this cute little spot in Seagrove. We were quite familiar with 30A, but had never explored this tucked-away area of Seagrove/Eastern Lake. Connie has done a great job decorating and paid much attention to creature comforts/needs and was spotlessly clean (note: there is no stove/oven-- so you won't want to cook much-- microwave, toaster, coffee maker & blender, though). It IS cozy-- with a double bed and the only "lounging/eating area" is the deck, which was a lovely spot for breakfast and lunch, since we ate out at night. It was nice having a fenced in yard for the doggies (we were prepared for steps leading to deck/cottage entrance and had brought a harness to help Chloe navigate them). The guest house is connected to Connie's house, but was quite private... she was there and helpful to accommodate in any way. It's a couple of blocks to the beach-- we're used to that and rarely stay ON the beach-- and the beach wagon she provided made it easy to haul supplies to the beach and stay set up for the day (periodic walks back to the house to check in dogs, since they aren't allowed on the beach, as we were already aware of). Seagrove Mkt. is 2 miles away (good po boys & cold beer), which is a nice walk if it's not too hot, Publix groc. is just beyond there, and-- of course-- there are fabulous restaurants all along 30A to choose from (short drive). Once we got settled in to our space, we weren't ready to leave after our long weekend's stay... and the beach was perfect-- the weather, the water/waves. Great trip.
Thanks, Connie.... we'll be back.

Fantastic Beach Getaway!
Such a wonderful studio for a beach getaway! Perfect for couples with dogs! Our dogs had a blast in the back yard and so did we. The great new back deck was perfect for grilling out! Everything was so clean and inviting! And the beach is a very short walk away! We enjoyed our week long stay and hope to return! Connie is the BEST HOSTESS!

Spring break retreat
A great week long stay! The studio was the perfect size and so well decorated! We enjoyed riding bikes (rented through Sunny Days bike rental for the whole week), the beach (which is really close), and exploring nearby parks (Eden Gardens was beautiful!). Overall this was a great place to stay and we will definitely be back. Connie is a wonderful host- very helpful and very nice to work with!

perfect!
My border collie and I stayed in the studio for three nights, and I only wish we could have stayed for another four or so days. The studio, while tiny, is very well designed, tastefully decorated, and positively ideal for one or two people (particularly those who travel light and appreciate efficiency). Connie is a delightful, conscientious host and was present and available without being intrusive. The location couldn't be better - within comfortable walking distance of the most gorgeous stretch of beach, yet secluded and private without seeming too isolated. I wanted for nothing, and I definitely plan on returning!

What more could you ask for?
This made our 5th trip to Seagrove Beach/Eastern Lake area. This was our first stay outside of Summers Edge community. This cottage is at the end of a dead end gravel road, just across from Chelsea Loop. My family of 3 plus our dog Tres stayed 7 days in the main home. The home is nicely decorated, and very clean. The furnishings were also nice and upscale for a pet friendly home, as well as the bed mattresses. We had a small problem with the A/C unit but Connie had someone there within the hour to check it out for us. We hope for many more trips back to this Cottage, for the price difference it is well worth the extra 4 minute walk to the beach. Thank you Connie !

Private Studio = Nice/Cozy
Pros: affordable studio; short walk to public beach; very clean studio; beautiful decor/furniture; doggy bed bench for your best friend to cozy up on; private back yard with plenty of shade; comfortable bed; all the needed kitchen appliances (coffee maker, toaster, microwave, tiny fridge, 2 burner stovetop); enough space for 2 people and a dog; very short drive to Seaside
Cons (and not necessarily the owners fault): loose gravel road to walk down to the beach (paved roads would have been nice); no rinse station at the public beach you walked to; mosquitoes trying to get in back door (sprayed outside to keep them away); no full size fridge, but it worked for the short weekend visit; no dishwasher, but again no problem since we washed dishes as we used them
ALL IN ALL this vacation studio was well worth the cost compared to other rentals in this area.
Our family would definitely stay there again!
Our pug, Chewie, loved his doggy bed! :)

CHARMING BEACH COTTAGE
Spent 3 nights at this charming cottage and enjoyed the quiet location at end of road. Very nicely decorated and very private. Nicely stocked with essential items and very roomy living area , dining and kitchen. Beds very comfortable and only issue was with the bath being off the master but that was explained by Connie before we arrived. Loved the lighting fixtures and fans throughout. Connie was very easy to work with and always available for any questions before or during our stay. There is also a charming studio behind the main house for extra room but we had plenty of room for 3 in main house. Enjoyed our stay! Beach across the street is very nice. Very friendly people on the st to beach. Thanks Connie!

Perfect for a long weekend
My fiance and I vacationed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time! The weather was great, Connie was very welcoming, and the studio was in great condition (immaculate, actually!) I would highly recommend this place for a long weekend or any short stay. The location is great - within walking distance to the beach and in close proximity to numerous tasty restaurants. The only slight drawback is that because this property is a small studio, we felt just a tad bit cramped when we were trying to eat and store groceries. Otherwise, this place is wonderful, and I would absolutely stay there again for a weekend trip.

Wonderfully decorated, upgraded & quaint! Nice yard for the dog & friendly host.
We were very pleased with our stay in May 2013. The studio was very well appointed and nicely upgraded. We were happy with everything provided. The yard was nice addition as we brought our dog. The beach is about a 5-10 minute walk and is absolutely beautiful! We liked the location as it was in between the popular (Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton area) and the other popular (Rosemary Beach area) so that way we could kind of visit each on different days.
This place is great for a couple with a dog (which is what we are). But more than 2 people would be uncomfortable.
The host was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again!

Just perfect!
My husband and I are a young couple who LOVE 30A. We got married there almost two years ago and have been itching to return ever since. We also have a big pup who loves to go with us, wherever that may be! He doesn't always get to travel with us, since he is a whopping 80 lbs. The three of us had a wonderful time at the house and on 30A. Moose swam at the lake and ran with us up and down the bike path. My husband and I spent a lot of time biking on the trails and stopping in stores along the way. The wind was too chilly to go to the beach one day, and the private back deck was the perfect spot for us to catch some rays. The studio is 100% equipped with all the necessities plus a few extras. We felt comfortable for the entire time we were there and would definitely return! We loved this secluded get-away and so did our big pup!

Sea-lightful!
Really enjoyed calling this lovely studio by the sea home for a week. So comfortable, quiet, nicely decorated, and with plenty of storage for belongings. The bathroom felt spa-like at the end of a sandy day. My dog liked having her own fancy settee and fenced yard. The spacious yard and deck were a bonus for entertaining. Location is a short walk to the beach, plus easy bike ride to Seagrove, Seaside, Alys and Rosemary Beach town centers via bike path. Close to bike and paddle board rentals. Owner is friendly and maintains property well. Didn't want to leave, but would return for future R and R!

Great Find, Highly Recommended!
This was our first visit to the Beaches of South Walton and we were hoping for a few days relaxation in the warmer climate before heading back north for the end of the winter season. We were so very, very pleased with our choice of location and especially, the choice of the studio at this property. It was just perfect for our needs: extremely clean, quiet, private, and comfy. We loved the pleasant decorating inside, the perfectly supplied kitchen, and the the large, sunny deck outside. The location at the end of a street just off 30A meant it was easy to get to, within walking distance of beaches, and very quiet. Finally, Connie provided a warm welcome, helpful suggestions for our stay and a cheerful presence when we needed. We would highly recommend this place and are hoping to return for a longer visit the next time. This may become our winter getaway location!

Great little place! Clean and Comfortable. Plan to revisit when warmer. Used to live in the area and really enjoy 30A and its offerings as well as seaside, which you are very close to. Not a lot of room, but how much room do you require to relax, beach is nearby with an easy walk.
