"San Gimignano is a beautiful town. We were off season so many of the shops and restaurants and some attractions we closed, but still there was lots to do and see, and enough good restaurants. And of course there were no crowds which was lovely. We took a Chianti region wine tour with Bruno and it was fantastic. We learned so much, and Bruno is a gem. The apartment was cute and very convenient to everything in town. It also had lovely views. It’s a medieval building that has been updated for today, but unsurprisingly there are some hiccups that can occur. However, everything was manageable and the host and housekeeper were very helpful. San Gimignano is a walking town and it is steep so it’s not a place for people with physical limitations, but if you can walk well it is a wonderful place."

"Great location inside the city walls. Historic building with a beautiful courtyard. Room was large, warm, and comfortable in Dec. Host was fantastic and helped us with parking recommendations for our trips to Sienna and Florence. Highly recommend."

"The room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location right in the middle of town. The balcony looked out over the town and landscape. It could not have been prettier. Also the staff was very friendly."

"This is a beautiful historic palace and we loved being in the center of San Gimignano! The host was very helpful and accommodating of our party. When we booked we thought the apartment common area was part of the apartment but it is a shared space for the palace. "

"Great location. Host was very communicative. We did not have a vineyard experience. If planning a taxi from Poggibonsi, book ahead of arrival as listed taxis were unavailable. Pictures make the space feel larger than it is."
