"Wonderful views of an amazing lake from this property, which has obviously been well-crafted and well-loved by the owners, who are friendly, accommodating, and professional. It's hard to choose where to spend your time between the main floor, the upper deck, or the water-level veranda/dock, but you can't really go wrong. Hiking and biking are just out the door, the Laggerhof is right up the hill for a meal or a drink, and the ferry stop next door will take you wherever you like (and back)...

"The room was spacious and well supplied for the most part. A quiet neighborhood, easy walk for groceries. The floor was quite dirty, but they had a mop and bucket so was easy to clean it. There were no kitchen towels of any kind, but plenty of bath towels. A dishwasher and fridge were a real plus! Radiant in floor heat was so nice in the bathroom too! Unfortunately for us, there were kids unattended in the stairwells playing and making noise until midnight. No fault of the management, but...

"We really enjoyed our time here. The owner warmed it in advance so that we would be comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom was nice as well. We hadden ook gedacht dichter bij de worthersee te zitten en deze gemakkelijker te voet konden bereiken. Dit viel ons een beetje tegen. Ook de snelweg boven ons vonden we af en toe wel hinderlijk. Verder is Oostenrijk prachtig en kregen we goede tips van Florian, de verhuurder. Al met al hebben we een goede vakantie gehad."

"Overall of course perfectly located on Ossiacher See if that is where you are aiming to be. Very quit and amazing views from the terrace. The appartment however has not been upgraded since the early 80s (except the shower) and things like amenities are a mix of left-overs/spare accesories. It works but basically its done in a way to maximize rental income with minimum investment. More importantly the appartment is very damp which is largely because they probably save on cost during the winter...
