"Salty Treat Oceanfront House was the perfect place for our family gathering and 60th birthday celebration. The oceanfront view was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the sound of the waves and endless ocean views made the trip unimaginably special.The home was spacious, wonderfully maintained, and ideal for family fun, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and spend time together. Being right on the beach during winter months was a huge bonus. No crowds & the weather was mild enough to enjoy mid-morning walks, and evening sunsets.This house created unforgettable memories for our family, and it truly felt like a special place to celebrate such a milestone. We would definitely recommend Salty Treat to anyone looking for a beautiful oceanfront stay in the OBX."

"We loved our stay. We wanted a quiet escape and though the accommodations are older and could use some updates we had everything we needed. What stood out most for us was the quietness and the close proximity to the beach and ocean- right out the back door. "We had an amazing week celebrating Christmas. Very relaxing, and comfortable. Nice spacious kitchen, very well stocked with nicer quality kitchenware and appliances. Nice upgrades throughout the whole house! Host was amazing and very responsive to all communications.Thank you for a wonderful place for our family to celebrate Christmas together!!"

"This was a beautiful space. We visited Jarvisburg for an event at the winery (just down the street). It was the perfect location and the pool being right outside the front door was an added bonus to the relaxing vibe. We did not bring a pet but loooved that we could have. The development is charming. A little neighborhood boy even offered to haul our garbage! So cute! The host was very accommodating and open to communicating with us. Overall, this was a great experience & we would definitely book again. "
