This retro styled home is full of character and is only a short stroll to surrounding beaches and picnic areas. The back balcony is perfect to relax, have a BBQ and watch the sun set after a long day of exploring the gorgeous shores of Jervis Bay.

Pets: The Ideal Spot is pet friendly! It would be appreciated if pets could be kept off the furniture. Please note a fee of $200 will be charged if pet droppings are left around the property. Maximum of 2 Pets only
Linen: The Ideal Spot is fully equipped with all your bedroom and bathroom linen, however you will need to supply your own beach towels.
Wifi: The Ideal Spot does supply complimentary Wi-fi for your stay.
Security Deposit A refundable $500 security bond is required for all bookings. This will be processed on your arrival day, or 24–48 hours prior if you're arriving on a public holiday. (Note – this does not apply for Airbnb bookings)

Cute retro property, clean and comfy, lovely location. Perfect for a couple . We enjoyed sitting out on the deck set amongst the trees to look at the water. Only issue really was that the front door was warped and wouldn’t lock consistently.
This house had all the necessary amenities, particularly in the kitchen, which allowed us to cook meals. Although we stayed for two nights, we regret not having stayed longer. We are considering returning to this place in the future.
Great views and convenient place to stay. Great outdoor seating options. However, the listing incorrectly states there is a sofa bed in the sun room but it’s actually in the lounge.
Lovely house with all the amenities, great view and location. Stayed with family. On the older side but functional and value for money. Would stay again.
We loved the house, it was clean, cozy and filled with character which showed that some thought had been put into decorating it. It appeared to be freshly painted, with a very workable kitchen that had everything we needed. The weather was not great so it was a perfect house for the two of us as we were able to sit comfortably outside or inside. Great central location for us to go bushwalking in all directions. It is a bit out of town but we had lunch in Huskisson every day and then cooked dinner at night at the house. We would definitely stay at this home away from home again. Thanks to the owners for providing such a lovely property.
Access to the property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or are wheelchair bound. But once in it was a lovely retro property with everything one can possibly need.
Great property. Beautifil, quiet and peaceful location. The balcony meant we could relax and enjoy the gorgeous view all day and even when there was rain! Great central spot to explore the region. We would happily stay here again.
Great location: Peaceful spot overlooking the water, a short drive from spectacular beaches, cafes and restaurants. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay. We enjoyed the board games.

Ideal location
We stayed a week here with our 12,10,8yo children. The house was comfortable for all of us with ample storage space for our extra belongings. Location beautiful. A tranquil place for a kayak and some crab and prawn hunting.

This property is inded in an ideal spot. The retro style of almost every thing in this holiday house gives a very warm and familiar feel and provided for a lovely time together as a family. Thank you to the owners for sharing such a wonderfully charming retro beauty!

Waterfront Wonder!
What a stunning retro cottage this is! And the location is just magnificent. We will be back
