Best Western Hotel Piemontese

8/10 Good
"A functional hotel next to the train station. Arrived after midnight and the reception was still open, despite what the check-in instructions say on hotels.com website that you cannot check in after midnight. I contacted the hotel and they said reception was open 24 hours so it wasn’t a problem. The decor is a bit dated and there was only one plug socket for charging but apart from that the room was fine for a quick one night stay over."

8/10 Good
"River location, with easy walking distance to railway station, but it is best to take a taxi from station if you have luggage. Also, a central location for a walk to town centre/ lake with lots of good local restaurants to choose from. Lecco is not as over populated with tourists so more enjoyable than Como. Train service to Veranna can be busy, with only standing room in carriages!"

HSM Hotel San Martino

HSM Hotel San Martino

10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed for a 3 day trip to Milan and Como. The hotel and staff were brilliant. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast is extremely good. If you don't have a car it is probably not for you as it is far from everywhere, but if you have a car it is very convenient."

What is a historic hotel like in San Pellegrino Terme?
Historic hotels give guests a chance to stay in a place officially recognised with a historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as castles, stately homes, palaces or even pubs, lodges, old police stations or skyscrapers — any place of special interest. These types of hotels in San Pellegrino Terme typically retain original characteristics such as period features or traditional architecture in guestrooms or communal spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. "Historic hotel" is a term often used in the US, while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to put more importance on the architecture and building. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value and how it influenced the community.
Do historic hotels in San Pellegrino Terme have modern facilities?
Yes, every effort is made to preserve the historic aspects and traditions, but hotel interiors are fitted with modern conveniences and safety features. When you book a historic hotel in San Pellegrino Terme, it doesn't mean you're choosing a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
