This is a fantastic hotel! Everything is amazingly clean, staff is super friendly and the breakfast and amenities are great! Located in Citta Alta and walkable within that district. The hotel also has a parking space. Highly recommend this well designed and well run hotel.

I am glad to have had the chance to stay here. The hotel is in a great location to walk to the wonderful old town of upper Bergamo. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and I could not rate them highly enough. I wish I had had the chance to stay for the breakfast as it looked wonderful but I had an early flight to catch. The room was as expected and bathroom was clean but the most uncomfortable pillows I have slept on for a long time

Beautiful calm stay in Città Alta

Amazing and welcoming staffs who recommended us local restaurant and routes to explore Città Alta. We found ourselves in a quiet yet well connected location, and the room had a fabulous view. 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely property just a few minutes from the town centre but with great views and very peaceful and quaint looking yet modern interior. Our room a decent size with plenty space to hang up clothes and had a safe too. Bathroom had all the extras too if required and very large and airy. Breakfast on the terrace or in quaint dining room, always space for everyone when we dined there if it rained! Also had some gluten free options for myself which was a bonus! Staff very welcoming and helpful, Would certainly return to this hotel if in Bergamo in future.

Fell in love with the views from our room on the 2nd level. Fantastic staff, very nicely decorated rooms, one of the best restaurants in town is attached to the hotel. You will be right around the corner from the funicular which takes you up to San Vigilio that has the best views. You’ll definitely enjoy yourself here.

Le Funi was an amazing find—we were so lucky to have chosen it for Bergamo. It's location in the upper city is perfect—parking (for a fee) was easy and welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with excellent local suggestions. Walking into town from the hotel was easy and being out of the concentrated tourist section was a relief. The room was lovely, the bathroom / shower was superb. And the downstairs breakfast room was cosy and a totally excellent way to start the day.

The location was great! A short walk to the main city center and the views were stunning. Really enjoyed the restaurant on premises. The food was spectacular and the service excellent as well. The room looked very updated and spacious, but the staff made all the difference. Super friendly and enjoyable! Loved the fact that we were able to check in earlier, as the rooms were ready for us. I would definitely go back and I would encourage people to stay there and experience that amazing city.

Beautiful little hotel right in the old town of Bergamo. Parking was available for a reasonable fee. Staff were courteous and helpful and answered all questions we had, and were very generous with information about activities around town. The furniculare is right next to the building and you will hear it running, but it did not bother us. The room, bed, and bathroom were beautiful and comfortable. We also tried the La Ripa restaurant on the property for dinner and had one of the best meals of our lives. We only wish we had stayed one more night.

The hotel is located a bit outside the citycenter. The room was a good size, even for the small ones, like the one I had. The bathroom had a good size as well. I like that the room had a fridge/minbar. The breakfast was outside, in my personal opinion, I would like the breakfast to be inside, but all over the breakfast was good. The staff was very polite and nice. A good hotel I wpuld stay at again.

Really great hotel & staff

This was a very classy hotel at a good price. Everything was great, the room was modern, bed & pillow very comfortable , the bathroom was modern, with a good shower, water pressure good. Great airconditioning, great location, high on the hill, but minutes from old town. There is a slight incline when walking back to hotel. The staff were all outstanding, the breakfast was very good. You could sit outside up stairs or indoors down stairs. Cerials, cakes juice upstairs, but much more down stairs, hot food, savoury, cheese, ham, etc. The staff make you a nice cuppaccino for you. The bus from the airport drops you about 150meyers from hotel, you just have to walk up the slight hill. If you arrive after midnight, you may need to take a taxi, make sure the driver knows where the hotel is, otherwise you get messed around an price can be as high as Euro50, not nice when bus costs less than a couple Euros Try the pizza restaurant just down the road from hotel, it's called Assaje, you get a lot more than you bargain for (few treats, including some alcoholic beverages for free). Overall a great stay and would go back there again
