"Quiet location outside the main touristic area about 10min walk from downtown with parking. Private rooms with bathrooms (very rare in San Pedro). I couldn't use the pool because it was too cold. Friendly and helpful staff. But, the rooms do not have heating/AC -- it was really cold all the time. Also, the hot water does not run very well so it's hard to shower. WiFi connection was intermittent in the beginning but eventually got fixed."

"Amazing place to stay. Free ride in and out of the town centre which is awesome. Rooms well maintained. Peaceful. Breakfast is delicious. No issues with power or hot water. Only annoyance was that there was no where to hang towels or bathroom stuff but that's very minor. Highly recommended. Very very limited English. Though Mai speaks great English (we just happened to be there on her days off!)"

"Hotel Kimal is a fabulous place as a relaxing and convenient base for your San Pedro de Atacama adventures! The staff are friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought and care into building and maintaining this hotel. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a marvelous and varied buffet of fresh breads and fruit, yogurt and toppings, and made to order eggs. The restaurant is excellent! "
