"Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful. We were lucky enough to stay in a garden level room, with an outdoor patio area. The breakfasts were some of the best I’ve had when staying at a hotel. The staff were the real stand outs. The front desk attendants were so helpful with suggestions of restaurants and also set us up for a day at a beach club. I’d highly recommended Gagliardi Boutique Hotel to anyone staging in the area!"

"It was more then perfect. We've had been there for three nights on our honeymoon. Spent such a nice time in very spacious, freshly made beatifully-design room with bathroom. We can highly recommend it also for the breakfast - fresh cakes and Cornetto hand-made by mother of host. For couple of really warm words deserves also host, Gabriele. "Beautiful hotel rooms. The staff was wonderful. Hard to find in the back roads. Only complaint would be the towel situation. They wanted to charge us 5eur to exchange from a pool towel to a dry one . You only get 1 same towel per person for 2 days . Very strange . "

"And amazing property in an excellent location to the main center of the city and easy walk. The property was originally built in the late 1600s the central garden is very nice and private the main house were they serve breakfast was period beautiful with frescos on the ceilings and all the rooms filled with antiques and period furniture. The host will give you a tour of the property and his family history. "

"The room was tidy and clean when we arrived, but the building is a bit spooky at night with no lights on and the area surrounding the property isn’t super nice/doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic. There wasn’t any staff to greet us but the person who coordinated our check in was helpful and communicative. The shower in the room was a bit rickety and the soap was too fragrant, it smelled like cologne. This is definitely an older style building with its own charm. "
