"We stayed at Casa 63 off Mesones for a birthday weekend getaway. The hotel sits just north of the center, right across the street, so everything is within easy walking distance.
Caesar and Jesus were incredibly helpful. They arranged our airport pickup and drop-off and booked our tours, and when plans didn’t go according to schedule, they quickly came up with alternatives.
We stayed in a room in the interior of the building, and it was very clean. The bed was firm, with just enough cushion to sink in and fall into a deep sleep. The linens and pillows were clean and very comfortable.
My only small gripe: the bathroom has a sliding barn door that doesn’t close completely, so there isn’t much privacy.
I’d read a few reviews mentioning noise, but we didn’t experience anything that kept us up. Just be aware that the church bells ring several times early in the morning. That’s part of the culture and charm of San Miguel.
Overall, our experience was excellent, and we’d stay again!"
