Second time for us, love this place, old time colonial vibe, spotless, staff is awesome, restaurant has good food. Easy uber or cab to centro, good onsite parking
I loved this place and would love to stay again. The pictures do no justice, it is like a 4 star hotel but advertises 3 stars. It was clean, beautiful facility, safe, hot water, excellent service
Property looked beautiful in person (lobby only) and online when booking. We arrived and checked in, were showed to our rooms and where to park our vehicle. Beds were uncomfortable, property and pool looked unkept. We traveled with small children and elderly, were unable to shower our only night here due to our rooms having no hot water. We called the front desk to have maintenance come assess and were met with a man who came to our rooms to give us a number of excuses and told us “not to expect hot water” - completely unacceptable. Our rooms were located directly by a small parking area and main road into the city. We had no sleep due to all of the traffic noise and uneasy feeling. Do not stay here.
The hotel is good, but the receptionist was kind of rude and let people cut in line.

The hotel sits directly in front of a major highway, and the noise is relentless. Semis roar past at all hours, and the building does almost nothing to block the sound. The bathroom windows are built in a way that they can't be closed. The bathroom door itself is a thin hollow-core door, so noise cuts straight through it. The main door to the room has no seal at all, so highway noise pours directly into the room. Sleep here is genuinely impossible.
The Wi-Fi is the second major problem. It's so slow and drops so frequently roughly every 10 seconds that doing any real work on a laptop is out of the question. It can't even sustain a single YouTube video. On top of that, the connection is tied to your specific room key card, which creates an absurd situation: when you pull the card out of its slot in the room, all the electricity shuts off, including your Wi-Fi. So you can't stay connected while moving around the hotel. There's a separate hotel-wide Wi-Fi, but it's only accessible from the lobby and requires a different password you have to ask for. That one at least works but unless you plan to sit in the lobby and do all your work there, bring your own data plan.
Overall, I found this hotel lacking in every dimension that actually matters for a functional stay.
