Outside of the property is nothing to brag about but the room was in great shape and very clean and for the money it very much appreciated. Also there is a grab and go breakfast with a few items, also appreciated. Would stay there again.

The managers, a husband-wife team, were excellent--very helpful. The building itself, however, needs some renovation. Staff was excellent. Also, excellent coffee provided by the managers, however the continental breakfast could be improved by offering bakery-quality pastries.

Close to the University, very clean, air conditioning was working, the breakfast sandwich was excellent - better than a McDonald's sausage mac muffin. Eddie was great - a very pleasant overnight stay in SLO - inexpensive as well.

I had a quiet, comfortable stay. This is not a luxury hotel, nor did I expect one. The breakfast was basic, but enjoyable. The staff was friendly. I couldn't ask for more.

Generally clean, bed was comfortable enough, shower was hot but bathroom felt a little dated. Continental breakfast was fair but just a 1-serve instant coffee maker so there can be a line. Fairly quiet and A/C worked well though it seemed to smell a little. But all in all decent value for the area.

The room was really clean with comfortable beds along with the property being well maintained. It’s a family owned business and they were nothing but friendly & helpful the whole time. Downtown is within walking distance and I definitely recommend keeping your car parked at the hotel unless you want to park on the street. Other than that, Iwould definitely stay again here!
