"Very nice clean rooms comfortable beds lots to do and the staff was top notch! Very polite and helpful especially with our older mother who was with us. Food choices were broad enough that everyone found something they liked restaurant and bar on the grounds and the adventure tours were super fun! Our adult kids had a great time!"

"A beautiful location on the slopes of Rincon de la Vieja, Borinquen Thermal Resort is a treat in the heart of the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. From the finely appointed rooms to the spacious, lush grounds, to the superb restaurants, this resort stay was one-of-a-kind. Staff was friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs. The pool (with swim up bar) and the natural thermal-fed hot pools were both relaxing and invigorating. The food and drinks were terrific any time of day and served by genial staff. There are thermal features on the property, a small, but quality hiking trail, and wildlife was abundant. With Spider and Howler Monkeys in the trees, iguanas and coatimunde roaming the grounds, and toucans and a wide variety of colorful birds overhead, we did not have to leave the property to enjoy nature's abundance. We also chose to venture with a knowledgeable guide to two photogenic waterfalls through a dense forest populated by many bird species. Borinquen Thermal Resort prides itself on sustainability, and staying there we really felt one with the environment."

"Joel at the front desk was very friendly and amazing. Although we stayed only for one night, the hospitality we received was great. The breakfast was served on the table with plenty of items. Joel offered plenty of advice for visiting the national park, the general safety tips, etc. The views were breathtaking, wish we stayed longer. "

"Staff were so lovely and welcoming. The activities at the resort were good, we booked a package from their website as we only wanted to do some of the activities and the package they offer at the resort is all of them for $120. They allowed us to split up our activities over two days so we did most of them one day and the hanging bridges before we checked out the next. There aren’t many options for food around the resort and I feel more than 2 nights unless you are driving to do an activity elsewhere would have been too much. But for 2 nights it was perfect. Great way to start our Costa Rican vacation. "
