Great place to stay

Lovely apartment in a great location. The owner was very nice. There are a few great restaurants and a wash/fold within an easy walk. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The bed was extremely comfortable, pleasant views from the front room windows, and the rainfall shower has great water pressure. Very safe neighborhood and location is perfect, especially if you want to explore Presidio. I would happily stay again when I visit the area again!

The property is well located for walking anywhere; the bed very comfortable; the shower is amazing. The place frequently had an odd smell which dissipated with open windows. I recommend this property highly.

Safe quiet neighborhood. Pristine condition. Great decor. Comfortable king size bed. Fantastic water pressure in shower. Fireplace knocked the chill out of the SF air at night. Host was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. 2 thumbs up!

Beyond Expectations

I have never stayed in a more beautifully appointed suite in any luxury hotel in the world. It’s so San Francisco! I’m familiar with the neighborhood but even if I hadn’t been, it felt safe for a woman in her seventies traveling alone. Springer is a friendly, organized and very helpful host. I really loved my stay. It was well beyond my expectations. Thank you.

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for six nights, and we had an amazing time! The suite was luxurious and beautifully designed. Ms. Springer was a wonderful host, and her communication was clear, friendly, and very responsive. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the rain shower had excellent water pressure, and the table by the window with its beautiful view was perfect for breakfast. The location was ideal for exploring San Francisco, and the area felt very safe. The suite was also close to grocery stores and restaurants. We were able to walk to the Presidio, Golden Gate Park, and Land's End National Park for breathtaking hikes. We were so happy we chose to stay here and hope to return next time!

4 Days in SF

Wonderful property, very safe area and clean. There are several door/security measures to insulate your property. We rented a car and parked it out front overnight with no issues. Walking distance to Presidio, short drive to GGB/Palace of Fine Arts. Bed is very comfortable. Despite being an uncharacteristically hot week in SF, the apartment stayed cool. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to explore San Fransisco!

Charming Suite in Great Location

I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said in all the other reviews! The suite is roomy and has such charm and character. It was so nice to have the Keurig and all the supplies for my morning coffee. The mini fridge was perfect so we could store drinks and snacks. The property is located in a lovely quiet residential area just a short walk or uber ride to the SF attractions. Springer is very responsive. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

SF Escape

Quick trip to SF and this pier de terre as they would refer to it in NYC was ideal❣️ Knowing SF I chose the area and this was a great choice, safe, quiet for a city, clean, tree lined streets with some walkable options for food & shopping. Parking is always a challenge, FREE after 6pm -9 am everything is metered with cc payment the trick is to find a space. An area parking permit supplied by the host be an excellent upgrade, although I would image very pricy. As we did get a $90 parking tix with 4 min remaining on the meter…. The unit is large enough for 2 easily and the mini fridge came in VERY handy too! Large comfy bed albeit the pillows weren’t my cup of tea however i survived just fine. Nice bathroom FAB rain head shower with terrific pressure along with HOT water temp control. Plenty of closet space with hangers, frequently many VRBO units hangers are nowhere to be found or if they do it’s wire hangers!!! I had trouble with the lockbox but it worked out after more than a few tries. The ONLY issue would be if you don’t like/can’t handle stairs, this unit isn’t not for you, sorry.

Beautiful property with a few caveats

We booked a 7 night stay to help our SF-based daughter out with babysitting our infant granddaughter while our son-in-law was on a work trip. Unfortunately, our granddaughter was hospitalized early on during our stay so we ended up only spending 3 nights in the apartment. The apartment is as pictured-- beautifully decorated and well-situated in a very nice neighborhood with restaurants and high-end stores. The owner left a few snacks and coffee pods and also rescued us when we inadvertently left our key in the locked room with all the chaos of the baby's illness. The apartment is a studio but the high ceilings make it seem spacious. The apartment was quiet and felt very safe. However, there are several sets of stairs to climb, which may be difficult for those with older joints, especially if you are lugging heavy luggage. In addition, the mattress was very soft-- an issue for those of us with bad backs. If the latter two issues are not a problem, I would highly recommend this place. The owner was the model of kindness in the midst of our family difficulties, arriving late in the night to open our locked door. Our only regret was that we did not get much of a chance to experience the neighborhood given that we were there for less than half the time that we booked.
