The location was fantastic! Not only close to the beach and restaurants but also a grocery store. Kitchen was very well equipped and there was loads of stuff for the beach (chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, towels, etc). Absolutely loved that the sliding doors downstairs open up the entire width of the house so we had a lovely indoor/ outdoor experience.

We had several family members stay at this house and we had an amazing time! House has enough bedrooms to accommodate everyone. Big kitchen and nice outside eating/sitting locations. Walking distance to beach and stores was fantastic!

Annual Girlfriend Getaway

There were 6 of us and beds for everyone. It was extremely clean. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Walking distance to the grocery store and beach. Neighborhood was quiet, safe, walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants.

The Best!

Great location and plenty of space

A lovely house with everything you need for a beach vacation. Appreciated the provided beach chairs, toys, and wagon, along with plenty of beach towels. Bedrooms on 3 different floors so you need to be prepared for lots of stairs! Perfect location, 2 blocks from Pacific Beach, 4 blocks from Mission Bay, 1 block from the grocery store and a pizza place just around the corner!

Exactly as advertised

The house is in a perfect location for a family if you want access to all that San Diego has to offer. The beach, San Diego Zoo, Legoland, etc. The inside looks exactly like the pictures online, everything is clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Perfect birthday getaway

Was able to book this amazing house last minute as my other rental was canceled on the same day through another company. So what could’ve been a very bad outcome turned into a wonderful experience. Very accommodating staff. The house is beautiful close to the grocery store, restaurants and a block away from the beach so much to do at the house play games sit on the balcony eat dinners on the patio absolutely loved the style and the three levels. Hoping to go back with family again someday. Highly recommend as you see exactly what you get plus more!!

Perfect Beach Home

This property is 1.5 blocks to the beach. The kitchen has every utensil you could need, spices, and coffee filters. There was dishwasher soap, plenty of kitchen towels, dishwashing soap and a new sponge. There were lots of dishes and serving bowls too. The grocery store was a half block away and it had everything, including liquor. There is a CVS a block away. Restaurants and bars are very close by. The beds were all very comfortable with nice linens. The bathrooms had quality towels. There were 9 backpack beach chairs, an umbrella, beach toys and a beach wagon too. The 2 car garage was a bonus to have as street parking was limited over the holiday week but we really didn’t need a car at all. Both patios and the upper deck were nicely furnished. Look for the resident hummingbird on the back porch!

Fantastic home

This house is so clean and has everything you need INCLUDING sharp knives. That’s right, I’ve stayed at many homes with the anticipation of cooking for the family and ended up with the dullest knives in history. Thank you for taking pride in your kitchen ware. Also so close to the beach, grocery and shops and a fantastic stay. Sorry to rant about the knives.

Can't wait to come back!

Loved our home. So close to the beach but in a residential part of PB. We could walk to everything, but also a bonus to have a 2 car garage. The house was NEW, clean, comfortable and just perfect. Communication with management company was superb. We had everything we needed and then some. Our daughter is at SDSU. This will be our home away from home. Can't wait to come back. Thank you for having us!

Family Reunion

The property was as listed. The remote check in and text messages made it all seamless. The house was clean and sleeping arrangements were as described. All the necessary kitchen items were there. We are a family of cooks and eaters, and did not miss a tool or appliance. The kids loved the Foosball table, and the ample outdoor spaces made the home feel larger as our group was able to spread out. The beach towels, and gear were an added bonus. We had family staying at a hotel on the boardwalk and they were able to walk down to enjoy breakfast on the patio. This is a fantastic property, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful family vacation!!

This was the best VRBO that we have stayed at yet. The house is beautiful, all high-end, bedding is so comfortable. Location couldn’t be better. Walking distance to stores and restaurants, food store right across the street, beach one block away. 20 to 30 minute drive to all the activities, the zoo, the aquarium, Legoland. Our family vacation was filled with laughter, fun times, quiet walks on the beach, it’s one we will never forget. The only thing I would add is it would be difficult for anyone that cannot take the stairs. It’s three levels, which we loved, because we were able to put the kids to bed upstairs and all the adults hung out downstairs. But if you are not able to navigate stairs, although there is one bedroom on the first floor, the bathroom does not have a shower, would need to go upstairs to shower. All in all, everyone had a wonderful time and I would recommend this as a family friendly home to rent for a getaway.

Great location near the beach

This 3 story home provided us with room for everyone and two vehicles on a wide street with on street parking. The 5 bedrooms had comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The kitchen was well equipped, but I always bring my own seasonings and paper products anyway. All the outdoor spaces were comfortable throughout the day. Close to the beach, but a bit of a walk to the bay. Close to shopping and dining, without the noise! A/C worked well at night, but all windows stayed open all day to the fabulous ocean breeze. Lots of steps as previously noted. A shame there is no full bath on the ground floor, but we made it work. Sofa could use an upgrade as it’s well used and provides very little support. Wi-Fi is good inside, but useless when enjoying the outdoor spaces. Thank you for sharing this vacation home with us!

Perfect Location and a great stay!

This house was in the perfect location for us (a family trip with a couple, three individual adults, and two children (aged 8 & 12). Located just a couple blocks from the beach, but it in a much quieter area than the beachfront. The provided beach wagon made it a breeze to carry all of our gear to the sand. In the win column: - Location (easy walk to the beach; one block to the grocery store) - Air conditioning - Two-car garage - Well-stocked (especially beach gear) - Plumbed gas barbecue - Washer/Dryer - Professional property manager/easy check-in & out The layout particulars: The king bedroom on the ground level is separated from the kitchen by an opaque glass barn door. The bathroom on the ground level is a powder room down the hall. The second level has the primary King bedroom/bathroom, and two bedrooms (one full bed each) which share a full jack-and-jill bathroom. The top floor has one room with two beds and a full bath. This room is open to the stairway (no door). It has a slider out to the rooftop patio. This configuration worked well for our group. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Getaway

We had a great stay. The property is only a short walk from the beach, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The house was great, with plenty of room. The immediate neighborhood felt safe. We appreciated receiving good, detailed communication from the owners. We loved having some beach chairs, beach toys, a wagon and a wake board available to use at the beach. The patio area on the top level was beautiful and provided a nice place to hang out in the evening and enjoy the breeze and the stars. A few things to be aware of: The garage is good sized, but we had a larger vehicle that was too tall for the garage. If you're in a similar situation, know that parking on nearby streets fills up quickly in the afternoon and evening, but spaces do start to open up later in the evening once people start leaving the beach and restaurants. The bedroom on the main level (king bed) has translucent doors, so any light from the main gathering area or kitchen makes it harder to get to sleep. Not a big deal, just something to work around if you have group members with different sleep schedules. The showers/baths are only available through the bedrooms on the second level. Those staying on the other levels will need to access them through these bedrooms. Again, not a problem, just something to be aware of as you are planning. Overall, this is a fantastic property, and we enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend this property. It’s a beautiful, spacious house that is one block from the beach. The house has a great kitchen with numerous amenities for cooking meals. The bedrooms are clean and private with a bathroom. The house was clean, everything was well-marked and explained. Would definitely rent again.
