Great location

Very accessible to bars, restarunts, beach, etc. The garage holds a full size SUV which is nice as the street parking filled up on the weekend. The roof patio area is great.

I can’t recommend this property enough! The home was just as pictured and fully stocked with everything you could ever need for a beach day including a wagon, beach toys, chairs and more! I loved that they also had a few regular toys my toddler could enjoy when we were at the house. You’re within walking distance from the beach and tons of great food options. You can’t go wrong! The hosts were also super responsive and friendly, an added bonus!

My friends and I absolutely loved staying at Zach’s place! It’s so close to the beach and so many fun bars and restaurants. We loved hanging upstairs on roof top deck as well. The house was very clean and so charming. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Experience

The house was very clean, updated, well appointed with everything we needed. The rooftop deck is enormous with plenty of very comfortable seating. The location is perfect. Far enough from the hustle but close enough for a nice walk to shops and restaurants.

Exceeded Expectations!

Property is newly updated and stylish just as shown! Location is perfect - close enough to walk to coffee, spas, and all the OB hot spots but on a quiet, relaxing street. Only a few blocks from the beach. Stayed for a mom’s weekend get away but would be just as good for a family or couples trip.

Great location

The location was great for our family. We walked to the beach in just minutes and hopping on the freeway to Balboa Park was a breeze. The sand wagon in the garage came in handy as did the sand toys. The outside shower warmed quickly so we could wash the sand off the 2 year old. We finished each day on the rooftop with the gas firepit. A vacation to remember.

Beautiful Home with Lots of Extras

Convenient location to all of the area attraction. Stylish decor. Beds and Linens were wonderful. Parking was easy. Rooftop deck was a great space to hang out but was not able to use due to Rainy Weather. Communication with Lauren and Zak was easy and quick to respond. Will stay here again on our next visit to San Diego.

Super Helpful Host and Great Ocean Beach House

This is a relatively new Vrbo listing, and we were pleasantly surprised by its size, amenities and location, which is near all of our favorite restaurants and cafes in Ocean Beach. The AC worked beautifully. We used the kitchen daily. The beds were super comfortable, and the house is very quiet and peaceful. One of the best things about the place (aside from the private garage) is the rooftop deck, which is huge, with very comfortable chairs and a shaded covering that made being outside at midday quite pleasant. We spent a number of hours on the roof top reading, relaxing and watching the world go by! Our host was fantastic, responsive within minutes, and helped make our stay really special. We are coming back to this house in October!

Cute Beach Cottage with Amazing Rooftop Deck

Very cute, clean, cozy and comfortable house by the beach! Host provided detailed information and responses to my questions in a timely manner. We only stayed for the weekend (wished we could've stayed longer!), but we cooked in the kitchen and found it well stocked with pans, dishes, and utensils. Although there is lots of street parking, we found that most spots were already taken by the time we got back to the house after going out, so it was very convenient and helpful to be able to park in the garage. It was a little too cold to hang out on the rooftop deck, but we hope to come back in the spring/summer and be able to enjoy this beautiful, peaceful space. The house is conveniently located near many restaurants and bars, but we also found it very nicely located for traveling to other parts of San Diego (we visited Balboa Park, downtown San Diego, and La Jolla). Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this beautiful property and great host!

This a great place to stay. It is fully stocked with dishes, bath towels, hand towels, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs…anything you may need! Close to the beach, but not so close that you hear any of the partying that goes on at night. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a family friendly place.

We couldn’t have wished for a nicer property and more responsive hosts. The house has everything you need and is beautifully maintained, even the bath salts smell beautiful. Highly, highly recommended. And the local margaritas are pretty good too!
