This charming, beachy, spacious, loft provides great views of Mission Bay & the surrounding area which includes fireworks shows (select weekends and summer) from the 500 sq ft deck. The deck is great space to BBQ, relax, soak in some rays, and enjoy the sunsets. Centrally located, minutes from SeaWorld, Downtown, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, Old Town, La Jolla, local beaches, the SD Zoo & more! Easy access to outdoor activities such as running, surfing, biking, boating, water-skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing & more.
SeaWorld - Less than a five minute drive!!
San Diego Zoo - Only 7 miles
Balboa Park - Only 7 miles
Temecula Wine County - One hour drive north
US Border / Tijuana - 25 minutes away

NOTE as of Sept 2022:
Please note that there are some on and off construction projects in the neighborhood. The hours for workers are typical daytime working hours and any noises are not disruptive. Also, it's quiet at night and will not impact sleeping.. We haven't had and problems or complaints but it's something we feel we should mention.

Beautiful Getaway

The private bungalow is a wonderful way to spend the weekend in San Diego! The loft was clean, spacious, had all that you could need in the kitchen, as well as, the toiletries in the bathroom if you forget something. So easy to check in and everything was nearby. We didnt have to spend too much on uber rides. We loved our stay

Perfect weekend Getaway

Superb location close to beach , restaurants and local shops. Excellent communication and greeted by their gorgeous Labrador “Dude”. Shower is out of this world and all kitchen needs are provided for meals in house . I will definitely love to stay again !

Great spot for a getaway!

Really enjoyed staying here for a fun weekend getaway. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood, private, easy access, centralized to really anywhere you need to go. Stacey & Matt are great hosts, quick to respond, gave very easy directions before arriving, and definitely take care of the place and make it feel inviting. I'd recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Bay watch Bungalow

Baywatch Bungalow was a beautiful place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. The location was close to the places we wanted to see, and the view of the bay from the deck was great!

Great bungalow I see a lot of

We enjoyed our stay! It was very clean, and the bed was amazing! The pull-out bed was also very nice for my daughter when she spent a night with us! This unit had great amenities and our hosts were awesome! Also, very happy about the gas grill and out door furniture.

Will stay here again

The property was even nicer than described. You have an entire patio to yourself, with a beautiful view of Mission Bay. The room itself is huge, giving us plenty of space to work remotely. Everything felt new and clean. It’s a safe neighborhood and a short walk to great restaurants, coffee, brewery, and grocers. Stacey and Matt were very communicative and made the check in process very easy, providing pictures ahead of time so we knew where to park.

Great location for all activities in SD

Loved the location of this Bungalow, it was so convenient for all we wanted to do. The fireworks at night from the Bungalow were a bonus! Very well stocked in the kitchen with a lovely grill and nice deck chairs outside. Perfect for the 2 of us, but would also work well with a family. Great hosts!

Great place!

My 18 year old granddaughter and I stayed at the house and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was a little nervous about being in a strange area. We felt very safe and the house was terrific! Nice view of the bay, very clean and comfortable. The bed was heavenly!

Clean, spacious and very comfortable. A very nice kitchen to cook in and comfortable furniture. Quiet and very safe feeling neighborhood, with a great location to get around San Diego by car. Good communication with owner. Would stay here again.

Location was perfect

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament at USD. Loved the space; we took advantage of the kitchen amenities and sat on the deck in the evenings for a great view of the bay. I would say it was a 5-10 minute drive to Mission Bay Beach, Old Town, Pacific boardwalk or USD, depending on day & time. The hosts were super easygoing, informative and accommodating. Not to mention their dog Dude is a sweetheart. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area..

Very spacious loft! Loved it!

I loved the deck where we could chill out in the evening! Inside the loft was very nice and clean. I liked the walk-in closet because there was plenty of room where we could put our clothes. Everything was in good condition and the bed was very comfortable! Plus I loved the shower it was really nice! We really enjoyed staying here.

Great Base for a San Diego Vacation

The flat was exactly as described. Roomy for two people, comfortable, and well-situated for the range of San Diego attractions. Matt and Stacey were great, responsive hosts. Zero problems or disappointments, as it should be.

Bungalow Blast

Fantastic spot! Close to all the attractions we planned to go to during our trip. Great communication. It was chilly so we didn’t spend time on the deck but the view was beautiful regardless. Parking was simple and always had access which can be a challenge in SD. Dude the dog was a cutie pie! This was my first experience with VRBO. 10/10 and I hope to rebook in the future!

Not shown, but has a huge closet for unpacking and the bathroom has a beautiful large shower. We meet the hosts and Dude, they were all lovely. The weather was so beautiful, the patio view wqs beautiful, the loft was beautiful and so much more spacious than the pictures show. Very close to a small family owned coffee shop, walking distance!! Please consider this beautiful bungalow for your San Diego trips!

Nice quiet get away

The location was great. We enjoyed the bikes and sunset on the deck. The parking was in an alley and tight. There was no washer/dryer or dishwasher. The loft was clean and very quiet.

San Diego trip

We stayed here for a week. The accommodation is a large studio above the garage. It is quiet, spacious, bright, comfortable and super clean. The bed and furniture are very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Its location is handy to Interstate 5 which makes many parts of San Diego easily accessible, including the zoo, the airport and Seaworld. Stacey and Matt are gracious and helpful hosts. I would highly recommend staying here.
