We hope you enjoy an exceptional stay with us in quaint Mission Hills.
This is the perfect location to explore all that San Diego has to offer.
We offer elite comfort for up to 4 guests with A/C and heating, exceptionally comfortable beds, quality linens, plenty of sheets and towels, Smart TV; FREE laundry, FREE coffee, FREE bottled waters, and snacks upon arrival. Guest toiletries, hair dryer, Makeup mirror and spa robes also provided. This beautiful rental has everything you need for a memorable stay in San Diego !

The Space:
This 1 bedroom apartment is quite large, boasting 1000 square feet of living space. The upscale, 1/4 acre gated property has extensive landscaping with many retreat spaces to drink your coffee, take in the views and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Guest have access to the private, stainless steel hot tub spa that is located on the upper patio; with amazing views of the San Diego Harbor. Guests also enjoy the gas firepit area located on the lower level of the property; just steps from the apartment entrance. A Viking gas grill is available for grilling should guests wish to barbeque during their stay.

The living room / bedroom space has a queen size bed and an additional daybed that can be used as two twin beds or made into a king bed. Plenty of high quality pillows and linens are provided for your stay. The kitchen has all baking and cooking essentials; a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, traditional drip coffee maker, full size refrigerator / freezer, blender, kitchen aid mixer and all the essential kitchenware you could need: plates, bowls, glassware, utensils and so much more. FREE coffee and tea, bottled water, creamer, and snacks are provided as well.

Exercise equipment, ping pong table, beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrellas, all provided for your stay.

Parking:
We offer FREE parking right next to your entrance and there is FREE additional street parking in our neighborhood as well. A remote control to access the gated driveway is provided for use during your stay.

Lovely clean one bed accommodation, ample cookware. The owners live in the property the rental part is underneath the stairs and the length of the house. Ideal for the airport, can see the planes from the garden. Trains rather noisy as they are obliged to hoot when passing the crossing. Hot tub has to be booked a day in advance and is on the upper patio. Good for a short stay.

Lovely Property Centrally Located

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking was easy and everything we wanted to do was close by. The bed was cozy and the apartment was well appointed. This house is close to the airport which made it extremely convenient, although you will hear the planes flying in and out.

This was a lovely place to stay, within walking distance of downtown areas including Little Italy, with great restaurants. We explored different areas of the city, and hiked nearby trails. So much to do, we hope to return someday, and would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at this beautiful historic home! Close to everything and although it’s close to the airport in convenience there is no noise issue in the rental. Beautiful property to use with great communication from the owners. We walked everywhere from the house if you are willing to make it a walking day, otherwise Uber is an easy option from here. Beyond expectations!

I want to say hands down this was the best rental Ive ever stayed in. 10 in my opinion! The home was beautiful, the grounds were breathtaking. The apartment just felt like home. Bill and Tiffany were there anytime we had a question or needed help figuring out the fire pit. Anytime I go to San Diego, I’ll be checking the availability here first! Family visit

What a beautiful apartment in a great location. We enjoyed our morning coffee every day watching the airport traffic and the bay in the distance. We had the back yard to ourselves for the entire stay, as well as use of the hot tub, grill, and patio, which gave us plenty of room to be together and spread out. Perfect home base for a family visit. Would definitely stay again.

The Best

We stayed four nights in February and found it tough to leave this comfortable, cozy apartment on the lower level of an historic manse. The owners' thoughtful touches are everywhere from a bowl of yummy snacks to beach towels and a big laundry hamper for the washer and dryer in the unit.The location is ideal to visit the best of sunny San Diego including the world famous Zoo and La Jolla to see the seals and art galleries. And it's just about half a mile from the airport car rental center. Great restaurants nearby for Italian, Mexican and seafood. Book your stay today!

Excellent property and great hosts

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this location and would absolutely stay again next time we make our way to San Diego. We loved the view from the back porch and the hosts were very helpful setting up the fire pits and chairs for us. They were always quick to reply whenever we had any questions and genuinely seemed to want to make sure we had a good time. I don't use VRBO too often so I was a little nervous using someone else's house but they made me feel at ease and it really added to the enjoyment of the stay.

Great neighborhood. Beautiful grounds.

My adult daughter and I visited San Diego to scout apartments for her. This location was ideal. While we rented a car, we hardly used it and walked almost everywhere. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Neighborhood is quiet. The gardens are gorgeous. And even though the airport was right there, the planes were actually cool to watch and it was quiet at night. Bill and Tiffany were super nice and very responsive. I highly recommend if you are looking for someplace close to the city but in a quieter neighborhood.
