This 2B/2Bath one-story condo is beautifully decorated in a beach motif with all amenities including a brand new 65" SMART TV and, of course, secure wireless internet offering 1000mbps. It offers you, as a guest, all that you need to enjoy a peaceful, serene beach experience. ...relax in this private tropically-appointed quaint complex of 5 residences where the charming town nearby fulfills your needs of great restaurants, shopping, and beach sunbathing or walking.

It is just a short walk down sturdy steps to explore the tide pools below or to go to a pristine white sand beach in a secluded cove. If you prefer to play in the surf at a large public beach with lifeguards, it's only a seven-minute walk. Fishing on the Ocean Beach Pier and surfers add interest to your view (and your photos)! At night, the lights of La Jolla sparkle in the distance.

Walk to the main street of Ocean Beach, a quaint coastal town featuring family-owned businesses, cute cafes, a plethora of interesting shops, and natural food stores. There is even a Farmer's Market featuring live entertainment every Wednesday evening from four to seven. (Times vary during summer and winter months).

I do not often repeat where I go, but if I did, I would definitely stay here again. lovely little place plenty of room and well equipped for your stay. Walking distance to shopping dining beach, etc. and Marty was just awesome full communication about everything that we could need to know

Amazing Ocean Front House

Our family loved every minute of our vacation at this amazing beach house! The ocean views from the house and balcony were so amazing, the house was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the communication with the owner was as good as we've ever experienced! Perfect San Diego Get Away

Marty’s Place is the perfect getaway overlooking the beautiful Ocean Beach tide pools. The ocean view from the cliff tops doesn’t get much better than this. We enjoyed our stay immensely and appreciated the closeness to so many activity and dining options. Marty’s Place was clean, with ample supplies. Marty was very communicative and quick to answer questions and provide anything we needed.

Weekend celebration

In town for USMC graduation and the owner Marty was unbelievable! Great communication, clear instructions for check-in. She contacted us during our stay with a few quick reminders and local restaurant ideas. The place was immaculate and the location and view was awesome. Fabulous Views of the Ocean

The views are amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves, watching the sun set and just enjoying nature. The house is spotless and Marty was very responsive to the few questions I had. We could walk to everything in Ocean Beach.

Enjoyed our month in San Diego

San Diego is a beautiful city - so many places to visit and things to do and see. Marty was a very gracious host - very accommodating and quickly available via phone/text to answer questions. The beach house apartment was very nice. It had everything we needed during our month stay. Unfortunately February was a cool month so we didn't get to enjoy the deck patio as much as we had hoped, but the view and sunsets were beautiful. Ocean Beach, shops and restaurants were a close walk away (.4 mi). The beach is smaller than others in the area. If you like a nice boardwalk, bigger beach, and more activity, than Mission Beach might be better. But OB was nice and Wed's Farmer Market was fun. The Sunset Cliffs were beautiful and there was more privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend visiting San Diego.

San Diego Get Away

My husband and I stayed at Marty's Beach House for an extended weekend. Marty was gracious and helpful and the condo was wonderful. It is quaint with homey details and the view is amazing. Marty made herself available to accommodate us and answered any questions we had as well as offer recommendations for restaurants. It was difficult to leave; we would definitely like to come back and stay longer!

Marty is an excellent host who goes out of her way to ensure her guests have a lovely stay. The view is wonderful, can't be beat. We did see dolphins our last day, and surfers every day. Tons of great places to eat close by. Easy access to the beach. As previous posters mentioned, the bathrooms could use an update, and the unit is in the flight path of the airport (minor annoyances), but you're overlooking the ocean. We would highly recommend staying with Marty.

We stayed at this very clean, quaint condo right by the ocean, the owner is very nice and concerned about your stay and supplied many items to make it as comfortable as possible. The stairs leading up to the condo are a bit of a challenge, unless you're in good shape, we had no issues... Walking distance to the Ocean and a lot of nice restaurants! We were there 23 days! San Diego - Ocean Beach

My family and I had a great time in Ocean Beach and the condo was perfect for our needs. The view of the sunsets and ocean were fantastic. We were able to walk to restaurants, bars, pier, and ocean beach in minutes. 30min drive to LaJolla, Miramar, Coronado. Sunset Cliffs a very short drive. Everything we needed in the kitchen was included and the beds were comfortable. The weather was 67-77 the entire week and the breeze and provided fans helped keep the condo cool despite no AC. Condo is not big but we had 4 people comfortably. The host was responsive to questions and very admissable. Ocean Beach is not LaJolla, Coronado, or DelMar, but it has a lot of character, it's fun, and we enjoyed our stay.

Paradise on the Pacific: Amazing Place with an Amazing owner

The Owner: Marty, the owner, deserves a standing ovation. She’s hands down the best, most accommodating owner we’ve ever encountered. Her communication was crystal clear, and she was just a call or text away whenever we needed anything. And guess what? When we checked in, there was a delightful surprise waiting for us—a bottle of wine on the table. Talk about a warm welcome! The Home: We were a family of five, including three teenage boys, and let me tell you, we all felt right at home. The condo was well-appointed, the beds were super comfy, and the location? Well, it couldn’t be more perfect. You’re a mere 20-minute drive from San Diego’s top attractions, and a quick 5-minute walk gets you to the charming shops at Ocean Beach. The View: Now, let’s talk about that view. I might’ve spent more time on the deck than inside the condo itself. The unobstructed views of the Pacific were simply stunning. Sunsets? Oh, they happened right in front of us, like a daily masterpiece. And guess what’s just below the condo? The amazing Tidepools! There’s a staircase leading down to them—one street up from where we stayed. It’s like having our own private aquarium to explore every day. In Summary: We’ve found our spot in San Diego, and we’re definitely coming back. If you’re after a great value, jaw-dropping views, and an owner who’s genuinely the nicest person, look no further.

Marty is the best host you could ask for and the property couldn’t be any better! We never wanted to leave the deck and the ocean views. All the furniture was new and comfy and she had all the beach extras we needed too! Would definitely come back!

Lovely location and apartment. Airplanes from airport very loud during the day. It was difficult to access the stairs to unit due to parked cars and trash cans, had to turn sideways to get through - making it very difficult to get luggage and my husband's oxygen concentrator to the bottom of the stairs.

The sofa was very uncomfortable. The beds were too tall to get into. The different levels of flooring made it difficult not to fall down. There were silver fish in the bathrooms. The sliding door needs wd40. The deck surface is very uneven to walk on.
