Excellent holiday house

This house was the perfect fit for a multigenerational group coming from multiple locations. The house is centrally located to the zoo, breweries and the airport. The fire pit was a huge evening draw. The house was as described and any questions we had prior to the visit or during were always quickly answered.

A Beautiful House on a Hill

A very spacious home with beautiful views of the bay and airport. We had ten adults and 2 children, and it was perfect for our group. The house is located close to so many things. It was a very clean home with a game room and sauna. The 2 children had room to run on the gated driveway. We enjoyed it so much.

Fun minus sun

Great property for hosting our group of 9. Game room area was fun for 3 kids and the basketball hoop sauna were a fun bonus. Floors were swept but not mopped clean so when you took your shoes off (as the sign asked) your feet got very dirty. House was very comfortable and made it easy to enjoy being inside (no sun while we rented). Very close to restaurants of Old Town and delivery options. Kitchen was well appointed to cook in. Overall a great experience and we would return.

Good Stay

Overall, we had a good stay! Upon arrival, we realized the whole road and parking areas were blocked off due to construction. The city was reconstructing the entire road and were working on plumbing. This was definitely an inconvenience because we had paid for an early arrival. The owner was able to let us in the driveway gate for parking and offered to reimburse us for the early arrival which was appreciated. The house was nice and big with almost everything that we needed. Had great views and was in a great location. The gaming area was really cool for the kiddos and we enjoyed the basketball area as well. Would definitely stay here again if the construction wasn’t present as it woke us up promptly at 6:30am most days with beeping. Thankfully we have younger kids that wake up close to that time anyways.

Beautiful Hillside Home

Let me start by saying, if you have any problems with stairs, this place is NOT for you!! This hilltop home is absolutely beautiful and has excellent views. There were 8 adults in our group; all men. There were enough “beds” to accommodate all of them. Kitchen was pretty much stocked, though if you are cooking for a large group, there aren’t many pots/pans for large meals. Home was not as thoroughly clean as I would have expected it to be - lots of dirt/dust and crud under beds. Master bathroom is amazing but does give a sewer-like smell quite often. Parking is scarce if you have more than one vehicle or a larger sedan. They do have a small “driveway” but our Chevy Malibu barely fit in it. Street parking always seems to be occupied. We attempted the steep hillside driveway once and never did it again! Would not recommend using it. Overall, this place is beautiful and convenient to the airport and freeways, but no where near a grocery store or WalMart/Target. Would very likely stay here again if we come back to SD for anything!

We stayed at this home for 5 nights and 6 days with a team of 7 while attending the San Diego Food Show.Although there were a few minor inconveniences, overall the house was very comfortable and well suited for our stay.The view was beautiful, and the home provided a pleasant and relaxing environment after long workdays.
