The property is close to old-town central transportation and to old-town shops and restaurants. And a short drive to the beach and other San Diego tourist attractions. But to walk over there you have to pass through a very sketchy area. The hotel in general feels dirty and the rooms have a heavy smoke smell. The pool is under repair. What a bummer especially when I was there with kids.

Was not what I expected but I guess you get what you pay for. I’m pretty sure people live there on a regular basis. I don’t think I would stay there again.

This place is unsafe, rooms smell like smoke, hooker and drug central. Bathroom window did not lock and partially broken. I have nevere seen a location like this. Walked into the room and walked out. The sad thing is that they did not refunded our money. It's ok my safety is first.

This place not clean , next to Train tracks the 1 night that I and family stay at midnight I fight broke up this hotel is visited by Homeless people screenings, fights, police shows up no arrest or stop problem. As I mentioned in the other reservation EXPIDIA really need to put a HIGH STANDARS any Hotel advertise in your website and you do not inspect this places wow

Sometimes you get great deal on the supplies they don't have Wi-Fi you have to pay for the Wi-Fi they have no iron to iron your clothes you got to go downstairs they don't have no HBO or anything just a regular TV very close to the trolley as a transportation can far away from grocery stores and mostly when you get to your room it smell like weed not cigarettes weed Beyond everything else is really cool to stay in

The property is noisy, the train runs close by, and you have the freeway literally running on top of you. The place has seen better days, it is not well kept, we request non smoking rooms which by the way were more expensive than the regular smoking rooms. The rooms assigned had a stench of tabaco. The rooms had been cleaned but still looks dirty, and the beds were so uncomfortable; it was nice to have a mini fridge in the room, too bad it was only one microwave and was not in the room but in a common area. There is parking in the property, staff is nice and attentive.

The staff was nice but area will make you feel a bit worried for safety. Hot tub wasn't working even though called ahead and asked. The whole reason I booked location was very upset. Room was clean but bed was terrible and uncomfortable felt itchy after laying in it. Hope nothing comes from that. Rust in bath tub couldn't use it have skin sensitivity. Way over priced for quality wish I would have stayed somewhere else had i known it would be so poor quality.

The service here is good even great, but the property seems to act as a halfway house catering to shady types. Next to the railroad tracks, very noisy. It’s cheap, and for good reason.

You get what you pay for is all I can say. Jacuzzi didn’t work Restroom had rust all over Uncomfy beds Rooms smelled like smoke or some type of mildew and upstairs people were so nosey

Liked: Reasonable rate/fee/cost. Staff helpful. Disliked: drug dealers, homeless individuals in front and around the property. Credit card needed for the vending machine (no other source of food), poor maintenance, could not open the room door with the access card (had to be reset).

I'm currently looking for another place to stay due to the fact thier are homeless people on property bird dropings, and people selling drugs. and my worse nightmare I have bedbugs on my legs and face. I did not make a complaint due to the fact it won't make any different its an area in which the type of people is their customers.

Very scary, witnessed a drug deal, some drugged up people that appeared to be living in their cars in the parking lot. Police were patrolled the parking lot when I arrived. Had to register outside through a secure window…..sketchy. Shower is disgusting and I’m not sure the sheets on bed were washed….found some spots that I easily rubbed off with washcloth. Lastly the motel is smack in the middle of the freeway and on and off ramp…..elevated freeway surrounds the facility. Room smelled musty and no way leaving window open for fresh air.

Horrible they atempted to charge my card ahhead of check in date when i selected pay upon arrival cancleed my room without telling me and dodnt even allow to to get another room expedia still showed i have the room and i was forced to use another hotel who thankfully took great care of me at 12am The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional didnt even allow me to show i have made a booking mearly telling me to leave and that im not allowed to stay here
