Come and stay at the beach!! Located on quiet Sail Bay, yet only 2 minutes walk to the ocean and busy Mission Beach, this is southern California at its best. Watch the kids play on the beach from the balcony with its unobstructed views of beautiful Sail Bay.
You can rent a bike and cycle along the boardwalk, or just hit the beach and relax.
With many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby you can walk everywhere, and leave the car in one of your two private parking spaces.
This beautiful, bright, clean, and spacious vacation home is just steps to the serene Sail Bay beach, and two minutes walk across Mission Blvd to Mission Beach and the ocean.
This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo spread over 2 floors is perfect for family and friends to enjoy.
Downstairs the large living room has sliding doors which open out onto the balcony with its grill and table and chairs, where you can watch people cycling, jogging, and walking along the boardwalk. On the water you can see paddle boards, kayaks, and sail boats go by. Whether drinking your coffee in the sunshine in the morning or watching the SeaWorld fireworks on a warm summer evening you’ll be spending a lot of time here.

The spacious modern kitchen has a table that will seat 4, and is fully equipped with everything that you’ll need.
Upstairs the master bedroom, with its own private full bathroom offers a queen bed, from where you can watch the sunrise in the morning, and a large walk in closet.
The second bedroom is next to another separate full bathroom and offers two twin beds, and lots of closet space.

The property was as advertised with nice views of the bay area. It was busier than we expected, but that was okay for people watching. The area has a lot of transients, but also something we expected. Mission Beach is a charming, old school beach community with a ton of dining options in our area. We liked Guava Beach Bar, but I am sure others were also excellent. Our main complaint was the size of the beds, which for four adults, were smallish. But the rest of the weekend more than made up for that.

Really enjoyed our time in this condo. Perfect location with the beach just outside the door. Nice cafes and quiet restaurants and bars a couple of minutes walk away. The condo itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Beach Condo

The condo was nicely appointed. Everything worked. It was clean. There were some beach toys. Mission Bay beach was right outside our back veranda. The ocean beach was just 100 yards away on the other side of the peninsula. We ate at 3 fun restaurants also within 100 yards. It's a perfect place for a vacation!

Early morning paddle boarding on Mission Bay, coffee and pastries from Olive cafe, followed by a Mission Beach walk...the perfect start to a day in San Diego! The condo was spacious enough to relax with local friends before walking to nightlife in Pacific Beach. Would definitely want to stay here again.

Condo well stocked with kitchen stuff. Quiet and yet close to everything. Only concern was parking is really tight. We were driving a Subaru Outback and that would be the largest car that would fit in the parking place. other than that it was a great place to stay.

We had a very nice stay. It has wonderful views. The lock box in the garage is kind of a pain, but check in was easy. We had a 4:00 check in time and condo was still being cleaned. The condo was clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

Very nice property but wished we had been told about all the stairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms both upstairs. With a heavy suitcase it was a bit hard to carry up all the stairs. Beautiful view and very comfortable once we got in and unpacked

Location. Location. Location.

Really nice place on Mission Bay. Peaceful and quiet mornings on the balcony watching the sunrise. Lots of water activity (sailboats, kayaks, paddle boarders) throughout the day. Close to great restaurants, coffee, bars, the beach. The townhouse is nicely appointed and well stocked. Two parking spots were key. Never needed to move the car, everything within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!

Place was great overall. Location was wonderful. Very spacious. I wish it had been more clear that it was 2nd and 3rd level. Sure I read "balcony. " From the pictures, it wasn't entirely clear. It can be a lot of stairs for those with mobility issues.

Great, but no AC

For those that are not from CA and stay during the summer, while they have an AC device on the wall, there is no working AC on the property and rely only on the supplied fans and open windows. Also note that there is laundry, but there is a code to get to that facility and it is coin operated. Otherwise, love how close it is to the beach and overlooking the bay.

The location is good, the area is nice enough w/ cute places to eat near-by. The condo itself is meh. The kitchen is old & depressing. You will hate the open concept bathroom in the main bedroom- Terrible lighting, low shower pressure and youre freezing when you get out. My biggest issue is safety. I had to request twice for a smoke detector to be installed, only one lock works on the front door, the sliding doors only have the flip locks and w/ the 2nd bedroom sharing a communal balcony, this is a problem for women travelers. Watch out for the bed post in the main bedroom! It sticks out so you hit your leg on it at least 10x.

Fun location right on the beach (Bay side). The house was comfortable and easy to access. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled. The living room and bedrooms are dated but we didn't come for the decor. The only slight snag was a lot of sand in the closet with the beach gear that unfortunately spilled out everywhere. Hopefully that closet gets cleaned out in between renters as well.
