Luci was lovely, the neighbourhood very walkable and with many handy conveniences such as food trucks, coffee shop and liquor store. The highlight was Luci’s beautiful lemon tree and having daily refreshing lemon drinks. The only thing I can think of as a bonus would be to have a little area to sit outside for coffee and happy hour.

Comfortable and convenient

The property is neat, well-equipped and located in a nice neighborhood, close to the things to do in the area. What a comfortable bed, especially after a full day of activities! We visit San Diego now and then, and will be happy to stay here again.

Adorable upstairs apartment

We loved our stay in South Park. The apartment was perfect for the two of us, and the neighborhood had restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Luci was a wonderful host and very attentive. I highly recommend it and would stay here again.

San Diego South Park Carriage Haus

This mid century apartment is well furnished, well stocked and delightful! We were very comfortable in our short stay. The street parking was easy and the neighborhood is very walkable for food, drinks and shopping. I would stay here again.

A very nice guesthouse.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this quiet and comfortable guesthouse situated in a beautiful neighborhood near restaurants and shops. It had a well stocked kitchen. Lucy was very available and accommodating.

Clean & quiet

I had a great stay. The apt was quiet and clean. The host lives next door and is very welcoming. A Target with groceries is just 2 blocks away and so many great brunch spots and restaurants in walking distance. Easy parking too! I will certainly stay again. Thank you!!

Comfortable Stay

Baseball trip

Perfect place to stay and go to the baseball games. We walked the couple miles to the games and Uber’d back. Walked a couple blocks to an enjoyable restaurant and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We would stay here again. The host was very accommodating. Thank you.

Love the Lemons

Fresh lemons from the property owner were left on the table, i enjoyed them in almost every thing I ate or drank, very nice neighborhood, I loved the charm of the house, when inside it has a cozy beach bungalow feel, very well decorated, and a bonus was the small sunscreen in the toiletries, it really came in handy on my beach day 💗, I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great place, great locatin

Had a very relaxing time. Only complaints were that the shower ran out of hot water after about 5 minutes (probably because the pressure was soooo high), the TV was small but had cable and ROKU, and the couch was uncomfortable after awhile. But the location was amazing. We could walk to the gym, coffee shop, bars, and the cutest bookstore. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall a wonderful stay.

Noisy but cozy

South Park renaissance was not conducive to napping, but we got some rest and really appreciated being walking distance to restaurants/shops and excellent small gym (South Park fitness)!

Great location!

Walking distance to several places we went and perfect neighborhood for a stroll. We loved our stay at this guesthouse and it was the perfect lodging for out multiple day stay. We have never experienced such a stocked kitchen amongst all our vacation rentals- including abroad! The neighborhood is so quiet as well. Water pressure is the shower is amazing. Although there is wifi, the internet was out while we were there. No biggie for us.

Wonderful space and location

Luci and Aaron were awesome from start to finish. We LOVED staying in South Park. Quiet, lovely and safe neighborhood. Parking on the street was easy and free. Walked to: Express Target, coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops. Great location for the things we drove to: San Diego Zoo, Coronado Ferry, Whale watching excursion, La Jolla, Carrillo National Monument, Liberty Station, Old Town State Historic Park, Little Italy Farmer’s Market.

Great space in a great spot!

We loved the guesthouse! It was very clean, which is super important to us. It had wonderful charm, as well. A huge bonus was discovering South Park! We could have spent our entire vacation in this amazing spot. The restaurants, shops and friendly people were the best! It is our new favorite spot in San Diego. Luci is the owner right next door and she gave us great recommendations to try as well as the fresh lemons from her tree! We will be back!

Wonderful location and host

South Park is a great neighborhood to stay in. My wife, daughter, and I stayed in Luci's adorable "Granny pad" and felt right at home. Safe, walkable, great food and convenient shopping would describe the area. Our host, Luci, was so gracious and friendly and had many suggestions on where to go within just a few blocks of her place! Access to Balboa Park and the freeways was easy too. And the interior of the apartment felt like a cozy home like my grandparents had back in Boston. The charm and comfort were there along with anything you'd need to cook a nice meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here. Aaron, the property manager, made check-in and check-out a breeze too.

Comfortable space, fantastic location

Accommodating management team and owner with strong communication skills. Any questions were answered immediately. Perfect location for everything San Diego related. Within walking distance of convenience and retail stores as well as trendy and unique bars and restaurants. People with cars have great access to street parking. Driving or Uber to downtown or other spots in San Diego is 15 minutes or less. Quiet, private 1 bedroom built in 1910 still has charm and peace of yesteryear and can be a great spot to kick back and relax if you're not out and about at Balboa Park or other amazing attractions in San Diego.
