Family Vacation
Great neighborhood, felt safe and close to everything we wanted. We visited six flags, SeaWorld, the Alamo and Natural Bridge Caverns and were within 25 minutes or so of everything. It’s close to a grocery store and Walgreens. The house nicely accommodated 2 adults and 4 kids. The pool is smaller than anticipated, more for lounging than swimming and we had a little trouble with the heater but the host was very responsive in handling it. I’d suggest bringing your own pillows and don’t forget a hair dryer. The fridge doesn’t have any shelves in the door but we made do with what room we had. We didn’t find any extra trash bags, dish soap or dishwasher tabs but didn’t mind purchasing them. I used the washer and dryer and they worked fine. The game room is fun, the kids really enjoyed it. It would be cool to put a TV in there! We used the kitchen all week and it was nice to have the bare necessities available, I was thankful for the muffin pan. Overall great stay.

To be honest I am disappointed in this property and owner and would normally inform but all of these issues he is well aware of but still posts old pictures of the house when it was in good condition and newer. I flew in to TX for a funeral and had a family of 9 scheduled to stay. My brother and his family of 4 arrived and saw the issues and left to the Westin and refused to stay. My son Stayed 1 night and opted to leave after seeing the 2 BBQ pits grill surfaces were rusted (we bought food to grill), pool wasnt properly filled and squirting from the jets across, we had to fill it, bottom of the pool which scraped your foot and built up dirt on the tiles. The hammock is torn, faded missing support strings and one persons bottom side hit the concrete when he got in and only 130 lbs, the umbrellas and pillows are faded and STAINED. The wood floors had the kids foot bottoms black. The kitchen kcup coffee maker barely worked and ran water down the counter, the Fridge is missing all of the door shelves, The blinds do not open all the ways only swivel, Master Bath shower head is full of calcium and spits out with low pressure and grout needs a serious cleaning, The floral bedroom closet handle kept falling off and the rollers and tracks to keep the accordian doors on was defective, The curtains for the master bedroom would fall down with the slightest pull to open or close them. There was no broom or mop anywhere in the unit. Hoping for the cleaning fee back and any amount refunded

Juanyeen, we are very sorry for any inconveniences you experienced, but unfortunately, none of this was brought to our attention to remedy the issues, which we would have glady have done on the spot. We check in and ask that you let us know if anything needs our attention and, in this case, you told us all this after you were back home. You never even gave us an opportunity to make it right DURING your stay. We pride ourselves on our guests being happy and we have maid service and maintenance as well as technicians for repairs and pool available on the spot. We rely on a very open communication with our guests during their stay. At any point, any one of your family members could have reached out, we respond to messages and calls immediately. I wish you would have allowed us that chance vs notifying us after you were gone, as prior guests had not mentioned any of these issues. We do thank you for staying with us and our condolences for your family loss.

Great location in quiet neighborhood
After a VERY stressful check in process due to not receiving ANY access instructions until 3 hours AFTER the property was supposed to be available, we pretty much enjoyed our stay. The pool heater didn't work for the 1st 2 days, but the property manager was apologetic and got it fixed as soon as possible and sent us pizza. The location is great...everything we wanted to do was within 15-20min drive in any direction. House has a fun game room that our children enjoyed.

Great home in San Antonio
We enjoyed our stay in this large home. There was a lot of space and the game room and pool kept our kids busy during our time at the rental. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and within 20 minutes of popular attractions. It is an older home with some wear but overall a positive stay!

This house was perfect for our one night stay before our early flight. We had a family of 11 traveling with us and it was very spacious. The heated pool was loved by the kids as was the game room. I rated 4 stars because some parts of the home were updated and new and others were noticeable that they needed some updating. But again it was perfect for overnight stay.

Hello Brenda, I am sorry you encountered these issues but when you arrived the AC was working because you never let me know about the issue until Oct 6th at 6pm. We got the AC technician out and because it was so late the store where they get the parts needed was already closed but is got fixed the next morning on the 7th. You still decided to leave and got a refund for the night of the 7th and either way I lost the nights reservation and got this review. The furniture does go through a lot of wear and tear with guest coming and going and we recently detected a leak in the pool and already have the repair scheduled during the slow season, so it doesn't interfere with reservation because it will take time.

Very beautiful home, and it had plenty of room for our whole family. The pool was a favorite for everyone as well. Very clean too. We loved that they provided things such as clothes soap and a lot of extra towels and bedding. They even had a high chair in case you have a little one like we did.

Overall our stay was very nice. Pool was on the small side but we still enjoyed it. Master bathe has so much natural light from skylights, however ceiling needs help. There isn't mold but it does have what looks like water damage. Also when we arrived kitchen sink was clogged, I reached out to property representative and was fixed by the time we were back from dinner. Our teenage boys loved the play room, with pool table. We all enjoyed the time together in the home.

Great home in a great neighborhood
This house had enough space for all of us. It was in a great location, no more than 20 minutes away from our destinations. The pool/game room were enough to entertain the children while we were at home. If we return we would stay here again. Daniel was very quick with responses. He said he was going to be away and would not be able to communicate with me, but was able to provide me with a backup contact in case of an emergency.

Great week in the sun!
My family and I rented this home for a week. We have 2 teenagers and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The location was perfect ...a close drive to all the San Antonio attractions but still nestled into a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The pool area is not large but it was perfect to come home to after a day of sightseeing. The fact that the pool was heated was an added bonus. We spent a few nights playing pool in the gameroom and hanging on the back deck. There were a few improvements since the photos on VRBO...there is a new lovely privacy fence, new furniture on the deck and a pergola with lights and a sectional beneath it. Great for relaxing after dark. It's an older home with a bit of wear and tear but nothing that bothered us. Daniel was wonderful to work with and responded quickly each time we reached out. Everything was fully stocked down to extra garbage bags, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and even toiletries. We can't say enough wonderful things about our time spent at this property. We would definitely book it again.

Pretty nice home.
Overall, a pleasant place to stay. The description of the pool and hot tub was a bit misleading. There was a pool that had some jets in it but I wouldn't call it a hot tub. Temperature was difficult to get warmer on the cool days we were there. And, we added water numerous times which only made it cooler. Not the best pool experience we have had. Probably wouldn't be bad if the weather had been warmer. But, definitely need to look at why the water is going down all the time.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. If you are planning to cook, this is really not the place to stay.... it has a difficult set up to do so. Very limited kitchen supplies. We like to cook suppers at the Vrbo's we stay at. If cooking is not your thing on vacation, then this place is perfect for you. We just like to have that family down time in the evening. The game room and pool were a nice addition to the family vacation.

Perfect Location/Great Home
We came down to San Antonio for a short trip. The home is close to the river walk and to sea world. The home was perfect for what we used it for and perfect for those who want to stay in. The house was very clean, had a game room with pool and foosball, and an awesome lounging pool that was heated. The master bedroom is very large and the other two rooms are a great size as well. I highly recommend this place. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we had room to spare.

Fun property…great location
What a fun property. The home was located in a convenient location making it easy to get to any of the spots we were wanting to visit. The game room was really nice for the older kids when just hanging out at the house. Daniel was attentive and checked in to make sure everything was up to our expectations. We stayed for a week, and this house was perfect. In a wonderful area with very friendly neighbors. The house was very clean and comfortable for everyone. The pool was a huge hit with our daughter who could have spent the entire trip just hanging out there. The property manager was very responsive any time I reached out to them. Perfect March Stay
We used this property for our Spring Break vacation. The pool was a perfect temperature for the kids to swim, even at night. The house was great in regards to having children along--no fancy breakables down low, and a great view of the pool from multiple rooms. We used the grill and made burgers and brats. The kitchen area and back yard were both conducive to making meals at the rental. Lastly, we walked in the neighborhood in the morning and it was very safe, neighbors were friendly and the location was tucked away, yet close to other amenities. this place great it fit us perfect and they where so nice when i massage the manager about a couple of things he got to me right away we loved the pool it was prefect it was clean and in great location the neighborhood was very nice and welcoming they had there dogs we had ours and they where so nice dog friendly house was great for my pup my daughter loved her room with bunk bed they gave us plenty of towels and dishes there was so much room everywhere tv was good pool was great the grill was good nice lighting everywhere but the main the room the lighting was great the beds where perfect we will come back to this house any time the house was close to everything

Good price for the size of the home.
Everything was clean and spacious. This was our first time renting a vacation home and it didn't disappoint. The pool was a major plus! During this pandemic our kids haven't been able to go swimming so it was nice to have that available in the backyard. We were able to get ahold of the owner right away when the AC didn't seem to be cooling but it was an easy fix. It didn't mess up our trip.

Upon entering the home, I immediately liked the decor and layout. My concerns started with broken furniture. The living room recliner was broken along with the pullout couch in the main bedroom. The Air conditioner kept jumping to 80 degrees the whole stay, turns out it was broken and needed to be replaced. There was no hot water at all and maintenance was unavailable until the following morning when we were checking out. There were roaches and something bit my youngest daughter on her forehead causing an allergic reaction. I was very vocal during my stay about the complications and nothing was done besides some short conversations but none that led to results. I requested a refund for the inconvenience and instead I received $75 which is less than my initial deposit. I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank But I definitely would not stay at this home or deal with this owner/company again.

Pest Control which comes regularly, came the next morning and found no sign for any insects. Your deposit is being handled by Vrbo not by me and I would advise you to contact them and check the status on it. You were given partial refund from your stay as we've agreed. First off house keeper was there an hour after our check in time still cleaning. We had to wait 5 minutes for her to finish. Once checked in the key lock code given to us was wrong. We had to reply by message about it. Response was quick and we were given the correct code but we received bad news that AC unit had given the last people before us a hard time and that if it didn’t start cooling for us to give them a call back. The house was 85 degrees inside. If it weren’t for the pool for my kids to stay cool, we would have left and requested our full money. Well inside the adults we were sweating. Trying to use the one box fan they had to stay cool some how. Games played inside we were sweating so much. Called the rep back and initially the ac tech was suppose to be there in an hour but then got news that he couldn’t get there until 9pm. Mind you we checked in at 4pm and half our day was spent in hotness and sweat. I am waiting to hear back from the owner but he hasn’t called me back. Fairness should be us getting some money back from that stay. Was not worth it. I recommend they fix this issue right and not let anyone know until the last minute.

People Great - Bad Luck with Property
Our trip was not at all what we expected... Daniel and Daniela were excellent in handling the issues that came up, unfortunately I'm reviewing the property & not the people. This particular property is aged and in need of some sprucing up. The main issue, which would've caused us to overlook the other issues was that the pool was broken. It was leaking and the heater didn't work. Very disappointing as all the reviews about the pool were great. I'm sure that since that time they've gotten it fixed and it is a nice size for the kids. There were also bugs inside the kitchen (not sure where they came from) and many cabinets /etc were missing handles and one light had an issue. Loved the area and the house definitely had lots of room --- the TV's were very nice as well. Daniel and Daniela felt really bad and moved us to another property which was very nice (& more expensive than the one we had initially rented). Very good to deal with... I would recommend this property if a few cosmetic changes were made (kitchen cabinets were old and grungy inside) & as long as the pool is working.

This is by far the best house rental I have ever enjoyed! Great location, very roomy, and very attentive owner. Everything was exactly as described and I had no issues during my entire stay. Perfect home in San Antonio!
The home is just as described and pictured! The pool isn't large, but it's so nice! It's heated and there is a nice bench along the entire perimeter of the pool to sit in. We had a one year old with us, and this was easy for him to play in, not to mention it's so hard to find a heated pool! It was heavenly! The kitchen is large and has everything you need. The location of the house was perfect. About 10 minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes from downtown. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Would recommend to everyone!

Loved the location. It was less than 25 minutes from Sea World and Six Flags. Grocery stores were less than 10 minutes away. The kids loved the pool. Very spacious house.

Perfect home for our family
We vacationed over Spring Break/Easter and had a wonderful time in San Antonio. Home is 20 minutes from a downtown to all the attractions we had planned so the home was a very nice place to relax in quiet and wake up and end the night with a heated pool. Beds comfortable, sheets nice, had everything we needed to have breakfast every morning in the home. Home is also conveniently located to many shops, restaurants, etc for essentials and more too. Daniel was a gracious and attentive host. Kids didn’t want to leave the home and usually close to end of vacation they are missing home.
