"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic and you could not beat the location. Pool was perfect. The only downside was the street noise. You could hear all the vehicles (we were on the main floor). Not a deal breaker for sure!"

"This property was everything we could ask for. Upon arrival, Brian, the front desk manager gave us a wonderful briefing explaining everything well and the property has a nice beach an easy walk in one direction where the sunset view is incredible. Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. The hotel room was great and the breakfast was perfect, served around the pool area each morning. A very relaxing, accomodating place, I will definitely stay at again when visiting that area "

"We recently stayed at Casa Suarez, and overall had a pleasant experience. The property was clean and generally as described in the listing. We felt very safe during our stay, and the host was excellent with communication — responsive and helpful.The home is located about a 10-minute drive from Sámara, so it’s convenient if you have a vehicle. A rental car is definitely needed to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops. There is a mini mart within walking distance that was very well stocked.The outdoor space and pool were highlights of our stay — we really enjoyed relaxing there. One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is noticeable noise from nearby traffic, barking dogs, and chickens, particularly at certain times of day.The reliability of the utilities during our stay, caused some inconvenience, but this is to be expected in Costa Rica, and the host did make efforts to address the issue.Overall, this is a good option for travelers who plan to have a car and don’t mind some typical rural noise while staying near Sámara."

"Paul, your home was wonderful, very surprised how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils, pot and pans. Very helpful because we did lots of family dinners.The sunsets at that end of the bay were the best. Just before 6:00 the short walk to the beach the family gathered with locals to say "good by " to the day. "

"Rooms are adequate and clean but hotel is starting to show its age. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool area could use some umbrellas for shade. Breakfast is ok but could use some variety rather than just 3 choices. "
