"The house is beautiful and the location cannot be beat. Playa Bonita, and this spot right by the house, must be my favorite beach ever. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to tell everyone you know about it and plan a trip back as soon as you leave. "

"So first we couldn’t find the villa, even the doorman of the community couldn’t help us, when we did find it, they wouldn’t want to give us the key, saying “they didn’t know we were coming”. We had to wait for someone to come and give us the keys after complaining. The villa is beautiful tho, the pool water was extremely cold, so we couldn’t get in it. To check out, we had to call them to come get the keys and they didn’t even know “we were leaving”. They thought we were leaving 3 days after. "

"I would NOT recommend staying at this property. We arrived at 8pm to the home and there was NO electricity. Not because the power was out in the neighborhood, but because nobody was there to check it and turn it back on with the company. There was also NO water. No water in the sinks and showers OR drinking water. Again, something that should have been checked BEFORE our arrival. When we tried to use the stove, that also didn't work. "This place is paradise. Roomy, comfortable, immaculate, with the best beach and surf. The staff is wonderful, and easy to work with, and chef Cristina's meals can't be beat. Las Terrenas does not offer much in the way of resort beach amenities, but if what you seek is an ocean beach, and swimming and relaxing in a gorgeous tropical setting, this is a great place."

"Great house with well appointed and large bedrooms. Everything was clean and in good condition. We had an issue with hot water that they fixed quickly. Staff was great - Cooke breakfast for us every morning. Walk to the beach is easy. It’s the neighborhood beach (Ballenas) which is more local as opposed to more touristy Bonita. Bonita is a 20 minute drive even though it looks super close on the map. Would stay here again!"
